Help: Name of the witch in Snow white?

Hmmm, I am going to go with Hag or possibly Snow Witch. I have heard a CM friend who works close to the performers in Fantasmic refer to her as Hag.

I've heard from a CM that her official name is "The Witch", but she's called a number of names unofficially too. I think "Snow Witch" or "Old Hag are the most common ones at WDW, but I've also heard of "Wicked Witch" and even "Hagatha" and "Granny Smith" used at Disneyland and other parks.

If you look up Snow White on IMDB, it says "queen". On the Snow White ride one of the dwarfs says "It's the Wicked Queen!" if I remember correctly.

My DD3 LOVES Snow White. We have several books. One book refers to her as the Snow Queen

I watched Snow White last night and she is The Queen. An interesting thing about The Queen---her face was inspired by the face of Joan Crawford and I recently read that her body was inspired by a statue in a medieval German cathedral. I love Joan Crawford and everytime I see The Queen, I think of Joan (and no, I don't believe everything that her daughter wrote about her).

The Snow Witch is from Narnia.

She signs her autograph "The Queen."

My DD3 LOVES the queen. She wanted to wear a witch costume and carry an apple to the Princess lunch and I wouldn't let her. :rotfl:

Incidently, she was the witch last year for halloween and wants to be her again this year.

What's wrong with being a princess? :lmao:

I like your daughter already! Who wants to be a whiny princess?

On the box of the doll I bought, she is referred to as the "Wicked Queen".

That's odd, I'd swear she signed our book as "The Snow Witch" and she drew an apple on the page. I'll have to go get my DD's autograph book. Back in a few minutes.

Same for me! I checked my autographs, and when she was a witch, she signed "The Snow Witch". When she was a Queen, she signed "The Queen". I also heard of the Witch being called The Peddler (or something along those lines), but that was in books. Wish she would get out greeting again as The Witch! :cloud9:

She's the Queen (maybe the Evil Queen). The "Snow Queen" is an entirely different story/character.

It's the age. My DD5 was a witch last year, and actually when I was 3 I was a witch (with a big UGLY plastic mask I loved :rotfl: !) This year DD wants to be Sleeping Beauty for Halloween. I think it would have been hilarious for your DD to show up at the Princess lunch as a witch carrying an apple! :)

In DL last month she signed DNeph's book as Old Hag and drew a little apple next to her name. :smooth:
