Help! My DS wants Ohana but is allergic to nuts!

MY DS wants to go to Ohanas for his birthday dinner and specifically chose Ohanas. I know there is peanut sauce there and maybe other nutty items. not sure. I really don't want to disappoint him on his choice. he's so excited! Anyone with peanut/treenut allergy go here? I'd love some advice/experiences. What all is unsafe? noodles?

We ate there 2 yrs. ago with my peanut/tree nut allergic kids without a problem. When you make your ADR, mention the allergy. Also, check the FAQ section in a thread above for the special diets email address. Email them and they'll email you back a form to fill in your ADRs and your son's allergies. The info is passed to the chefs at each restaurant. At the restaurant, the chef will come to your table and talk about safe food options. We didn't have the peanut sauce brought to our table and the kids weren't allowed to eat the bread pudding, but got enormous bowls of vanilla ice cream. They didn't have the noodles when we were there, but it they contain nuts, I'd avoid them also. You can also request kid food for your son. My kids weren't thrilled with skewers of meat, so they opted for mac & cheese. Your son should have a terrific (and safe) time celebrating his birthday at Ohana.

The best chef on property for allergies is Chef TJ who is hopefully still there. It is worth calling and asking and trying to make a ressie when he is working. We were there this summer and dined at O'Hana's on a night he was working and had a wonderful experience. We knew him when he was at Boma. Your son will not be disappointed with Chef TJ.
