Let me start out by saying that my DS is almost 4 and is seeking as much attention as he can get. Since we brought Cian home from the hospital, this has been our problem with Kayd. I find time in the day to read with him, cook with him, play games with him, watch him show me tricks he has "learned" on his bike, etc. So, I have made the best attempt I can to give him the attention he needs right now. Fast forword to this morning. I sent DS and DD outside to get their bikes ready to go to school. I got the twins in the stroller and then got rthe baby in he stroller. We walked to school dropped off DD then turned arount to come home. Kayd was going much faster (riding his bike) than me (walking). This is usually just fine. Well, I get about 5 houses from ours and the neighbor is outside talking to DS. I am thinking that is strange, but OK. The neighbor comes up to me and tells me that DS has been ringing her doorbell. He had rung it before we left for school and now when we were walking back from school. Due to his insistant ringing of the bell, he woke up her 2 yo who had been up during the night with a cold. I was so embarassed and said that I would be dealing with DS. Right now I have DS in his room and he is not coming out. Any ideas for a good punishment? Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry for the long post. Thanks for listening to the vent!!

It sounds like he has the ringing part down. Now he just has to master the running part. :D
