Help my bear travel please!

My daughter is in the 2nd grade and they started a traveling teddy bear program. It runs Dec 18th-mid April. We have to send her bear places, have the person they travel with write a little in the journal, maybe take a few pictures w/the bear in it and send a postcard to the school. Would someone be willing to take her bear "Sugar" on a cruise with them? I will pay to have the bear shipped to you and back home and for the postcard stamp. My daughter would be thrilled to have her bear "Sugar" travel on a cruise.

I'm not going on a cruise but you can send the bear to me and I will take a picture of her with us by the Pacific Ocean - I can see it from my patio - and I would send the bear back. PM me if you are interested!!

I just noticed that you are from the Chicago Area - I grew up in the south suburbs!!

You can also send the bear to NJ since we are on the East Coast and take pictures at the Ocean as well

We'll also be going to Epcot pre-cruise - we could hit lots of countries that day!

I teach Kindergarten and we do a similar 'class mascot' thing! I live near the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe. You could send 'Sugar' here to have a picture with Lake Tahoe in the background if you would like!

Our cruise isn't until October!

We're going on a "Wonderful" cruise and trip to WDW in February. You're welcome to send beary to me in KY....and since we're driving, we'll travel thru Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. Can also take it across the river to INdiana (20 minute drive, but hits another state!)

I'm in Vermont and would be happy to host your bear for a day and send her back to you...we're also traveling on the Magic Western at the end of February, and would be happy to take her there too, if you're interested. My 6 year old dd would love to care for the bear!

Ah, this brings back fun memories! We took our dd's class bear on our cruise last spring and took pictures of it everywhere! In front of the airplane, on the bus, getting on the ship, at the kids club, at Key West, dressed up for the pirate party, dressed in a little tux for formal night, sunbathing at castaway cay, and many, many more. We emailed them to her teacher every day. My dh and I had more fun thinking up funny poses for "Mr. Bear." He has more vacation pictures that we do, probably!

Have fun! We live in Oregon, by the way, and could host sugar if that sounds interesting to you. Definitely not as interesting as a cruise!

Gummyvites - Sugar could see something that we don't often see here - SNOW. At least in the Willamette valley. It's coming down pretty good today. But there's plenty of snow in Chicago.

I live in St Louis so, not too far from you. But I would be interested in keeping up with Sugar here on the DISboards to see where he is able to travel. Could you keep us informed? Maybe post a few pics from time to time?

We are cruising the Magic w/ Dznymania in Jan. and would love the meet the bear. We live in Salt Lake City Utah. I teach at an Elementary school and they would love have the bear come and visit. My daughter's class has a "pet" owl they do this with. My husband and son even took Hedwig to Africa last year.
