Help! Movie reviews needed

[Ready to go in Ok]

I have picked some real stinkers lately, so I thought that I would put my list out there to see if anyone has seen these movies before I waste my time. Rented Alexander; boring. Hero; eh. One more within the last week or so, can't remember the name though. Here's my list.

Lord of War
Stealth
Vanity Fair
Layer Cake
House of Flying Daggers

We love indie movies, and basically will watch any but the gory ones. Any suggestions?

Layer Cake was confusing but not too bad (ok,according to DBF Sienna Miller saved it for him)

If you didn't like Hero, I can't imagine that you would enjoy House of Flying Daggers, either. For me, Hero had an okay story, and the action is what kept me interested. With House of Flying Daggers, not even the action could keep me awake in that movie.

But I love Crouching Tiger. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for Hero.
