Greetings from Paris - Disneyland Paris!

Here are just a few impressions from yesterday - we arrived a little late, picked up our APs, then checked into the hotel and back to the park for a little peek of the parade and Disney Dreams, the night time castle show.

Today we got up a little late (the day before had been a REALLY long one) and it was RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we finally made it to the gates the crowds were immense and since we still have two days we decided to do what is one of the most popular things for Tom and I to do .......






go shopping!
So to Disney Village we went!

Needless to say we found a lot of things to buy ......

WE ARE BACK!!!!!!!!


We returned yesterday night and it was an absolutely wonderful and fun trip! First off, I recommand flying business class to everyone .... you will feel very pampered and STUFFED!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately this will have been the one and only business flight in a long time.

The first two days were awesome as the crowds were low, but they picked up considerably the last two days. We go to DLRP enough to not worry about that any more and just leave when it becomes to unbearable.
The weather wasn't cooperating too much either the first two days, hence the low crowds I think.
Parade and evening show "Disney DREAMS" were great and I hope they stay for a long time - catchy music too!

I intend to give you all a short trip report with LOTS of photos, but only after we get back from Italy.
We leave for Italy the day after tomorrow and after unpacking our suitcases today we immediately packed them again with things we need to take there - no suitcase weight issues - we are driving!

And just a tiny bit of an update on our summer vacation.
While sitting in the business lounge at Frankfurt airport, checking the DIS, I found there was a new discount released.
The only part of our summer vacation that hadn't been blessed with a discount was our Atrium Club level stay at the CR. Now, I did not really expect there to be a discount in the first place, but a girl can dream. So I checked and low and behold there is a discount of 300$ for the two nights we will be staying. So, still at the airport I booked us a new discounted reservation and as soon as we got home I cancelled the old one.
Feels sooooooooo good, especially since we will hit the double digits for our summer vacation on Friday.

(I will get back to your posts once we have returned from Italy - there is a lot of work between vacations!)

Welcome home, Karin & Tom!!

We flew business class to/from London our very first visit and wow....next trips we felt like sardines...although on the way back Virgin sure did feed us well!

for unpacking and packing!! Forgot this one will be a Road trip!! I love a road trip so much that I could pack up the car, drive around the block and call it a good day!!

Congrats on the CR discount - what could be better than sitting in an airport and saving money on another trip?!

Looking forward to hearing all about both trips after you're home and settled...photos too!

Sounds like a fabulous trip...and those purses are gorgeous....very similar to the new DL one I like so much.
