Now is as good a time as any to start with the Cruise questions
First Dining: I doubt we will do any but the included restaurants, so as it is a 4 day cruise and you rotate I assume we will do 1 twice , is there a choice for that or is it all figured in your rotation ?? Which of the 3 is ther best ??

You better get packing! I have the suitcase setting on the spare bed with a couple of items in it. Will start getting serious about my packing in a week or so!

Yes, it is such a sad day when they "throw you off the ship kicking and screaming".
We will still have a week of WDW fun ahead of us though to soften the pain.

Are you going to try for a cabana, Jen? They are the ultimate luxury and so worth every penny!

And I think it was called an Oreo shake, but I could be mistaken, Rosie.

Yes, Rosie, you will do one restaurant twice in the rotation BUT .... the day you go there the second time will be pirate night and you will have a different menu anyway.
You cannot choose your rotation, Disney will assigne you one. All three restaurants have good menus and to be honest our least favourite is Animators ..... not for the food, which is delicious but it can get REALLY loud with Crush interacting. But please keep in mind that is just our personal opinion.

I guess it will be soon time to pull out the suitcases. So far we have not started packing yet. We wanted to pick out clothes to bring yesterday, but didn't get around to it.

Summer vacation 2012,
Key West, WDW, back to back cruises on the Disney DREAM, and another week at WDW.


Day 24:
WDW

Today we will enjoy to be able to sleep in, before we have some in room breakfast

and then go shopping to the outlet malls.

Once we have fulfilled all our shopping needs we might as well stop at Joe’s Crab Shack for lunch.

We visited there last summer and very much enjoyed it, so we decided to return this summer. After lunch we will make a stop at Downtown Disney for some more World of Disney shopping

and a few treats from Goofy’s.

Then we will drive back to Old Key West,

relax for a while and weather permitting will hit the quiet pool.

Later in the afternoon we will get ready to finally head to a park that day. Our chosen park is Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Once we have parked the car we will pick up a fastpass for one of the attractions, then head to dinner at Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre.

I guess we will be seated as hitchhikers again, but none the less enjoy our dinner. After dinner we will stroll through the park, and then stay for Extra Magic Hours until midnight.

Then we will be heading back to our villa and finally fall into bed.

Oh how I wish we could travel with a carry on!
I hope to stuff everything into just two suitcases (maybe three) but we need to bring formal wear for our Palo and Remy dining experiences.
And since half of my suitcase will be filled with FE gifts - there should be lots of space for souvenirs!

I believe it was 2009 I did a Solo Trip in May and another Disser and I arranged a HUGE Meet in Epcot ,there were over 50 of us it was awesome . That was also the first year 4 Moms decided to do a Mom's Trip, 2 of them were friends the other 2 were complete strangers other than their DIS friendship, they have done a trip each May since and this year they added a cruise to it , I have stayed in ci\ontact thru the Dis ever since !! They have a TR going right now and they are COMEDIENNES

WooHoo, now I'm getting excited! I got my Mickey mail today, luggage tags & ME pass & my itenerary. It's coming soon for me also.

I should have my bags packed a week before we go. I get so anal about my clothes. I have to try everything with underwear to make sure nothing shows & it all looks good!

No, we still haven't packed, nor even started. Tom handed me a few more things he wants washed and ironed and I am trying to get those done before I start.

Yip, serious countdown mode ...... only 4 more days, well 3 days and about 22 hours, but who's counting!

Mickey Mail is the best (even though we never get any over here )
I take my hat off to you organized people who pack a week early, no such thing for me .... always have been a last minute person and I guess at my age I won't change much any more.

No, the retro Dooney in my thread is a DLRP one, but they have some WDW retros as well.

I think WDW has their own version of the retro purse design.

Summer vacation 2012,
Key West, WDW, back to back cruises on the Disney DREAM, and another week at WDW.


Day 25:
WDW

We will sleep until 7am, then get ready to get ourselves to Olivia’s for breakfast.

And after indulging in those breakfast goodies, we will then head offsite to do some more shopping.

Once that is done we will stop at Downtown Disney for lunch at Wolfgang Puck’s Express.

After lunch we will haul our purchases up to our villa and relax for a while before we head over to Beaches and Cream for some yummy ice-cream.

We will then walk over to Epcot to try out the new interactive Agent P games and explore World Showcase.

I am sure a visit to Mousegear and some fun rides are in store as well.

In the evening we will march over to Italy for dinner at Via Napoli.

Hopefully dinner will be consumed in time for Illuminations, so we can at least watch it once without a long wait.

After the fireworks we get on our way back to Old Key West for an earlier night than usual.
