O.k, HELP me we have a family dilema going on and I need help from the Diser's.
We are going in June (June 16th is the night in question). so it will be HOT, maybe rainy (we all know June in Florida is unpredictable). We have reservations for Hoop De Doo right now. My hubby's thinking about switching to Mickey's BAck Yard BBQ because he heard from a family member who went that it was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. I am VERY concerned with the heat, I like to sit in air conditioning comfort when eating and if it rains I worry about the BBQ. He said they told him they were under a tent and fans were blowing and it was fine. Would we be covered if it rains??Can you help me with this, is it true? Which would you do. We have 2 kids ages 5 and 2 1/2. HELP!!

The HDDR is wonderful! Excellent. No question. Since Mic's BBQ is outside, you concerns are valid. I'd stay with the HDDR. Otherwise do both.

We went the Mickey's BBQ last July. It was VERY hot!! The fans did nothing. It did not rain, but the entire place was covered so we would not have been wet had it rained. But, it was REALLY hot!! That being said, we had a great time and this was my kids first choice (8, 6 and 3) for our trip this April. They had so much fun dancing with the characters and are still talking about it!!

MBYBBQ is better suited for your age children...HDDR is sit down, shut up, and enjoy...if you can.....MBYBBQ is sing, dance, get autographs, sing and dance somemore....an antsy 2 yr. old..can get up run around and have fun....HDDR...sit down and be quiet, the show must go on.

Thanks everyone. Based on what was posted here I switched our ressie's to the back yard BBQ. I figure the kids will have more fun there. Here are more questions though: How hard is it to get to the characters? Is it madness? My 5 year old will run up to them but our 2 year old is shy but she'll want to be part of the action and didn't know if it will be a huge battle for her.

Also, I assume they are picnic tables, right? If so, do they have high chairs or boosters?

Thanks, looking forward to it, should be fun
