Leaving 2 weeks from today!woo hoo! :goodvibes I have checked all of the popular transportation companies...prices all within $10.00-15.00 of each other.Which would you reccomend?Route:Airport to HRH roundtrip.Mears,Sunray,Tiffany,Happylimo,Luxury Sedan.Anybody with experience??

We always take Mears. I guess it's part of our package. They are alright. Sometimes, depending on when you arrive, you have a nice wait for a shuttle and are put in with tons of other hotels. Or, if you arrive late, like I did once, getting to the airport at about 12:30am, we got a shuttle to ourselves and were there in no time.

Coming back, Mears sometimes sends a cab instead of the shuttle. If it's cheap, I would go for Mears.

I'll be there at the same time as you. heh.

:cool1: You can hang out with us by the pool...that will make you one of the cool people! :thumbsup2 We are from VA,so you will also be considered one of the southern people too :goodvibes

Just got back from HRH with my family, we used Tiffany for the 2nd time, it is awesome. Great value, service and very reliable. Ask for Rafael.

:thumbsup2 If you don't mind me asking...how much?And do they include a grocery stop?We don't really need it,just asking.Thanks! :Pinkbounc

Tiffany are efficient and reliable and we are using them again in 9 days time. The airport/US return fare is $95 for a towncar with a $5 coupon on their website. Plus they offer a complimentary 30 minute grocery stop if required.

Pigbys idea sounds good, personally I rent a car for the week, but that is a little pricey, about $600 for the week, the only thing I would recommend that you stay away from is the cabs, they seem to really ream you, last time I used cabs in Orlando, it was basically at least $60 no matter where you went, and that's expensive and I know for I travel to Wash DC and other big cab cities alot. So stay clear of the cabs unless you have no choice.

i usually go with 1 or 2 other people so mears works best for us over the cost of a towncar. not sure how many are in your party but definitely check that out. if the cost is much different then treat yourself to the towncar. we went this route when there were 4 of us and went to disney via tiffany towncar. had no problem with them.

i am usually mears in a couple of weeks also and i have never had a problem with them and have been using them as far back as i can remember. i usually arrive early in the day and with the addition of magical express for the disney folks, i usually do not have a long wait to head to the hotel. coming back is hit or miss. they pick you up 3 hours before your flight and you could be traveling an hour of that time to other hotels. i usually have a return flight around dinner time so i am pretty exhausted by then and welcome the sleep time. sometimes they pick up in a bus, and sometimes a van. never had a taxi sent for us though.

ooohhh i can't wait!!!

:thumbsup2 Thanks everone!Just booked Tiffany, with $5.00 coupon, ends up being $90.00 roundtrip, airport to HRH.Included free grocery stop(or should I say liquor store stop, now that we can not carry any liquids on plane).Did request Raphael!!

if you book with sunray it is $80 rt and includes a 30 minute grocery stop.

and there is a $8 off discount available on one of the mouse sites.

 Sunray quoted me through E-mail that the price is $100.00 roundtrip, that is why I cancelled that ressie and went with Tiffany. Thanks anyway! :woohoo:

call them, that has to be an error if you are staying either at universal or disney.

i used tiffany before but sunray beat their price for me.
i am using them for a 3 legged trip.

When are you guys going to be at HRH???

You won't be sorry you went with Tiffany. We use them every time we go to Orlando - both Disney and Universal. Never had a problem. I love their efficiency and they help with your luggage and give nice tips on the parks during your drive to the hotel. We just love them! :thumbsup2
