We are booked for 4 nights in Oct. at AoA in a LM room. Now, with the room discounts (and those being excluded) we can stay at CSR for just $100 more which is what would have been our choice if the LM rooms were not open yet. Anyway, we got psyched up for AoA and it looks awesome, but the queen size beds and in room coffee pot are huge pluses for CSR. We are renting a car, so buses are out of the equation. What to do, what to do? :confused3 DD9 doesn't care as long as there's a pool, although she loves pool slides, and DH says "whatever you want" although I know he'd prefer bigger beds as well.

I'd move to CSR it's such a beautiful resort. Queen beds and a pool slide will make it worth it. You can always visit AoA to see it and eat there if you wish

Sorry, it's only $100 extra total, not per night. I agree it's a small price to upgrade to a moderate, but there's also something about staying at a brand new resort. I know we can always visit AoA, but honestly, unless it's a monorail resort, we just never take the time to go out of our way.

If the difference is only $100, I would definitely switch, just for the queen beds alone :lmao:. I think CSR is a beautiful resort.

$100 more to go from value to moderate is a really good deal and CSR is beautiful. I know what you mean though about wanting to stay at a brand new resort. We live in Florida and take a short trip every month or two and we stayed at all star sports this weekend. This was our second time staying at a value and for the price it is a good deal & I can see why people stay at the values but I will never do it again simply because of the bed size. I came home so tired because I never slept well and I couldn't imagine a longer trip sleeping in that bed with my husband..the pool at CSR is really nice and so are the rooms there.

So I just tried to talk DH into a split stay but since we're there only 4 nights he doesn't want to move. DD likes things about both, but the water slide at CSR might have swayed her. Why is this so hard??

We were booked at AoA for Christmas. Saw that we could upgrade to CSR for very cheap and we decided to upgrade. Love CSR

I vote for CSR. I know it's new, but at the end of the day you are still comparing a value and a moderate. I think you will be more comfortable at CSR.

We stayed at AoA in June and there is an initial wow factor, but it is still a value resort with value resort amenities. I know some people love them, but I was uncomfortable - the beds were uncomfortable and the resort was loud - and by day two, I was ready to leave.

Stay at CSR.

For $100 more, I vote for CSR. Your husband likes the bigger bed and I think your daughter will enjoy the pool with the slide. It's not so hard.. Just pick up the phone and call Disney and change your resort to CSR. Done! :goodvibes It's that easy. Honestly, I would prefer the queen beds and it is nice to have a pool slide.

I would choose CSR it also has a giant hot tub with very powerful jets :thumbsup2
