Wow, how freakish! That was my first "no bacon" thought, too. Scary that I think like someone who actually made a list like this.

That said, I saw this and thought immediately of Dave's theory:

I've been around. And I've seen a lot of things. Some good. Some bad.

But I have to say that I have NEVER seen a lil' smokie sausage Jesus wrapped in swaddling ham and laid in a bacon manger.

Now I can say it. I've seen it. But I'm not sure how I feel about it. Gives knew meaning to the verse.."O taste and see that the Lord is good.."

Although I love me some bacon and honey, I have to admit that cheese and chocolate make everything better in my house. And those are 2 ingredients I don't measure - EVER!

That bacon and sausage did look a little raw.

I never thought of a bacon and sausage manger scene. Just further proof that bacon is always the answer. I wasn't sure if it was hashbrowns or rice. Hashbrowns makes more sense. It looks more like hay than rice does.

I'm just glad lil smokie Jesus wasn't wrapped in a biscuit. I would hate the thought of our Lord being presented as a pig in a blanket.

Pretty funny that the website says it goes great with everything except ice cream. But I might note that honey DOES go well with ice cream.
