Help me solve a mystery

DD moved out of our house after Christmas. A few weeks ago she started to get junk mail at her new address but in my DH's name (her dad). DH co-signed for her car loan but she hasn't changed her address with the loan company yet. As a matter of fact, she got the bill yesterday in the mail with the forward sticker on it. She just did a change of address with the state today for her driver's license.

We're just trying to figure out how her dad's name is now associated with her new address.

Who knows? My ex divorced and then moved in with me later. We then moved to a new house, then to another one, then to a rental for a year and then bought another new one. We have since divorced (met in 1993) and he has moved twice since then. I've gotten mail here for his ex wife that has followed us around since the beginning and we never lived where she lived. She stayed in house they had and then moved to another house about 10 years later and has been there ever since. Just an annoyance more than anything. So while she was never associated with any home I've lived in I get her mail 5 houses later and his name is not on any of it. Go figure.

I wouldn't try to figure this out. We get credit card offers and other junk mail for lots of members of our family, most of whom have never been in any kind of financial relationship with us and have never even lived in Texas.
