Help me: single trip wheelchair issue

I wish I could just hire someone for an hour to help me.... my daughter just got married and refused a free trip to disney to help me and I am sick of not going...

I don't know why this embarasses me but I am going to Disney by myself and I use a wheelchair. Here is the issue: there are very few things I can't do by myself but the airport drop off/pick up is the worst. My husband will handle the drop off at my origin but when I get to MCO I can get the "helper" (whom I tip well) to take me to the luggage from there I usually get an uber or town car. I will be alone and need a vehicle large enough to fit the wheelchair and someone understanding it takes an extra minute. The uber driver last time said I took too long. The towncar people tend to be very nice. I know the wheelchair fits in a mini van because it is what I have at home. Does anyone know anyone patient who can drive or tips for a place to rent from? I also need a ride back and just to be dropped off inside the doors to southwest. I have no issues tipping for help.

Once I get to the hotel I will have an ECV waiting so then I will have NO issues. It is just until I get the ECV. I was going to bring my ECV from home but there is no way I will find a vehicle big enough or I want to deal with the battery issues.

I don't understand your question.

A wheelchair pusher will generally take you to baggage claim and then to the ride share area or taxi line. A car service driver will generally meet you at baggage claim. Your wheel chair should fit in an Uber XL or Mears taxi van. It will probably fit in a regular vehicle. Can you transfer? A mears accessible taxi will work if you can't. Uber and Lyft have a way to contact them with disability complaints.

Do you want to bring your ECV? Consider buying a new battery. A Mears accessible taxi will take a regular ECV. Can your ECV be disassembled? That opens up a lot.

Put through a request with your airline. A private "helper" will have to get to MCO, pay for parking and figure out how to get through security. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Relying on the help of a random passenger is risky.

Edited to add. Book a car service. Have the driver meet you at baggage claim. At the dtop off make sure he gets to a place where you can wait for a pusher

I was going to delete my post. I'll leave it but for the OP

1. What hotel are you staying at.
2. How limited is your mobility? Walk from the end of the jetway to your seat? Walk from your Uber to an outside bench? Walk from an Uber to seat inside the lobby?

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I can walk from the wheelchair in the plane. My only concern are two places. From the luggage to transportation to Coronado Springs and then to get the wheel chair to Bell Services once I get my ECV at Coronado. If there is an easier hotel I will do it but I have done it at Coronado before.

I just get so nervous.

Thank you

There is a zero percent chance I can get from the Uber to the lobby but I can get to an outside bench if they pull up in the circle drive I think. The heat is going to make a huge difference so I booked my flight early.

I know from personal experience that the wheelchair pusher will meet you at the door to the airplane when you exit the plane. Usually, the flight attendants know I arrived at the door in a chair and has me wait to exit until a person with the chair is there. That person pushes me all the way to baggage, helps retrieve my luggage and takes me and my luggage to where I am getting my transportation to the resort. If necessary they will leave me sitting in the chair to wait for my ride to show up and tell me to just leave the chair there and someone will get it back to them. You just need to tip them to cover all the extra services. If you rent your ECV from the vendor that is allowed to deliver to bell service when you get to the resort, you can ask the your driver to ask bell services to bring it to you.

. Get a new battery or rent a scooter at home. Gate check your scooter and pick it up at your gate when you land at MCO.
Assume your scooter can be dissasembled. Go with lyft xl or car service.

You prefer not to dissassemble. Call Mears and book an accessible taxi. I don't know if you can reserve one in advance.

Efited to add
Tigger gave you the rextbook solution. Issues include waiting for pushers, waiting for a bellhop to retrieve your rental scooter and possible issues with scooterbug.

Just sharing my personal experience - My personal scooter is a very transportable VIVE 3 wheel scooter. I can fit it into the back of my very small Honda Fit. As a result of it's transport-ability the battery doesn't last very long. But that's fine. All of my luggage has rotating wheels so I can push it while scooting. I also attach things like my laptop case to the suitcase. I have a backpack specifically for the scooter. to get to the airport I use a car service - Lyft, Uber or CarMax - and my scooter fits no problem. When I arrive at the airport I re-assemble the scooter - and roll with my luggage to the check in counter. I then scoot to the gate - where I let the gate attendant know I have the scooter - and then I am pre-boarded - so I take the scooter up through the jetway - get off just before entering the plane -- and take my seat.
Reverse the process for landing at MCO - I get the scooter right outside the exit of the plane, I scoot to baggage claim. Then I roll to Mears. They put the scooter under the bus and I carefully and slowly go up the steps of the bus. Upon getting to the resort... I scoot to the lobby or my room if it's assigned - and I rent a scooter (usually from Gold Mobility) and either store mine at bell services or bring it to my room (depends on location).. Of course, this is all possible because my personal scooter can be broken down and fits.
Before I purchased one -- I rented one just for the airport portion just described. It was a small portable one.
Coronado springs has their drop off point at a slightly longer distance from the main lobby. I had no problems using my scooter there but it wasn't something I had expected.

I would rent from home a portable, lightweight travel scooter. You may be able to rent an extra battery, too. You may be able to get a scooter that has two batteries: those last longer and should be more dependable.

Do you have anyone else you could go with that would help you for a free trip? That may be your best solution.
