The Cast: Myself, my DD (7), my DS (1), my sister (21), and my parents who are in their 50s and first timers...

Timeline : January 18-23 2016, with 4 park days ( AK, Ep, & 2 MKs)

Tentative plans : 1 ADR a day with the exception of the Epcot day, we're just going to eat all over the place that day ;)

The scenes:
Arrival day is some DTD and Raglan Road.
AK day is Tusker House Lunch.
Epcot, no ADR
Off Day, some monorail and Park Fare
MK day Crystal Palace Breakfast
Off Day ____????_____
2nd MK day _____?????_____
Departure Ohana breakfast

Director's notes:
I was originally thinking that second off day could have something from the boardwalk, along with a leisurely stroll, but am second guessing since I read not much goes on there until evening which is a little late for my parents...

What do you guys think?

if I had an MK day I would choose something on the monorail or boat system. I like the Wave but we don't have kids so not sure if it's too grown up. Another option is whispering canyon a bit earlier on in the dinner service, it's a bit more calm. Or trails end is a good option too. Both at fort wilderness or wilderness lodge

I always love the Boardwalk no matter the time of day but if it helps for your planning, I believe the boardwalk "street" performers are out Thursday - Saturday from 7-10pm.

Will you have a car? For your off day, I was going to suggest diner at Boma at AKL. It's such a beautiful resort and you can explore a bit before or after dinner. In the evenings, they have storytelling outside at the fire pit and they often have little parades where the kids borrow instruments from the gift shop and march around the lobby. The times of these activities vary depending on the time of year, but it would be a fun evening after a relaxing day.

You can get there without a car, but with a car is easiest.

For MK, how about BOG?

I don't know why I felt like we HAD to eat in the park, I should look at the monorail restaurants, thanks!

Maybe the hustle and bustle doesn't have to be going on when we go to the boardwalk. Is Beaches and Cream the best option there?

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want a burger or sandwich and ice cream, then B & C is a good choice. But if you want a nicer dinner, there are lots of great choices.

We'll have a car, one of the many perks of a Florida resident, that's for sure.

Boma might be a good idea also, we've never been there and the kids love the animals... hmmm food for thought.

And BOG is definitely an option, though the kids and I have done it twice... But it really does bring the atmosphere of Disney to the forefront, doesn't it?

I'm going to HAVE to force the parents to help me whittle down the options a bit, they are definitely "let's see what happens" kind of people, which doesn't work with my Disney over-planning obsession, and so they've tossed it all in my lap, and I just know they'll drive me nuts once we're there.
