Hello Camping Fans - We are heading to the Fort in early November for 2 weeks. We are a family of 4 and we will be tent camping - the cheapest level - I forget what that is called. We have bikes and would like to be close to a comfort station. It would be nice to have some shade. Im heading to Orlando in Feb and september so I could go look around - Im just not sure which loops are the lowest level - tent only sites. Thanks for your help - anything else I ought to check out curing my recon mission?

That's an easy one, either loop 1500 or 2000. Be advised that loop 1500 shares a Comfort Station with 1600 so that makes it a little tougher. The 1500 loop is very close to the Meadow Trading Post and nightly movies.
I would go for the 2000 loop, IMHO, which has 2 Comfort Stations because of it's size. It's further from activities though, but with bikes and the bus, no problems.
Your lower numbers 2001 up to about 2009 are fairly close, the last 10 sites 2060's are also very close to the first Comfort Station. At the back, 2030's are very close with 2036 and 37 being right across from it. Lastly, 2019 and 2020 are at the end of the sidewalk of the back Comfort Station.
Coming at that time of year, you should have no problems getting a site to your liking and needs.

I'm a newbie here. I'm glad I found this thread, this really helps me. Thanks a lot.:)

Have a nice day everyone.

You're welcome. I'm headed over to the Fort next week and will take a couple of pics for you guys so you can see the proximity of the sites to the Comfort Stations.
Don't forget your coxial cable or RG6 video cable as it's called now. Gotta have that cable TV in the tent....ah, Fort camping at it's finest. :thumbsup2

We were there this past NYE and had site 1504 and loved it...right by the comfort station, bus stop and short walk to the pool area and trading post.

I am so glad to have found this thread! Thanks guys!
