I need to know I am making the right call. I have plans to go to CRT for Dinner and I need to know it is worth it.

First we are taking our girls to BBB for the Castle package princess: princess: and then over to CRT for Dinner. :love1:

But if Cindy is not there is it worth it? :crazy2:

Is the Fairy Godmother even excting for 5 year old girls?

Does anything special happen at the dinner?

I am so torn :charac2:

It is not particularly princessy. I might consider 1900 PF for dinner, where Her Highness spends the evenings.

Cinderella is there, barring anything unusal happening I'd assume. She is in the lobby and takes pictures with you and your family for the photo package included in your meal price.

Not sure when you're going, but we have reservations there for week after next and can share a more current review of the experience when I get back. :wizard:

I agree that Cindy should be in the lobby, but I would think that your girls might like 1900 Park Faire better. Cindy will be there with her Prince, the Step Mother and Step Sisters - way a lot of fun.

I booked breakfast just so my DD can see the princesses and interact with them. (And I wanted to eat in the castle!:lovestruc )
The Fairy God Mother whirls around the room at dinner, the mice skitter around, but no one comes to the table to say hi and take pictures. My dd would cry!

We are also doing the dinner buffet at 1900 PF, we did it last trip and the characters there are wonderful!

SorcererDonald16 - I will be waiting for your verdict :worship:

I have to wait 22 days till ADR's can be made.

shellybaxter - Do you have any more details on the happenings? :cloud9:

Has anyone been do both with girls around 6 years old?

Everything I read so far says Ceinderella is not present at the meal. Am I wrong? :confused3

Cinderella is usually there for the photo op downstairs but no characters will visit tables. Only at breakfast & lunch will characters meet & greet at tables.

Jellietree,

My understanding is the same as DisneyDine, Cindy in the lobby for pic - no characters at the tables in the dining room for dinner.

1900 Park Faire is at the Grand Floridian - just a short boat or monorail ride away. It is a buffet with characters. When we went last the characters were Cindy, Prince, and two mice. The food was great - by far our favorite dinner buffet. Since then they've changed the characters to include Cindy, Prince, Step Mother and Two Step Sisters. I can't wait to go next December. Here are links to the menu from allears and wdwinfo

I personally think the strawberry soup and freshly made pasta dishes are to die for

If you're girls want to meet the Princesses, I would suggest Akershus in Norway at Epcot.

This was our first Princess dining experience and it was by far the best. Jasmine, Belle, Aurora and Cinderalla came to our table. Ariel was in the lobby for pictures.

I would opt for 1900 Park Faire. I am not your children's age (I'm 22, lol) but being a HUGE lover of the Princesses I was a little disappointed at the lack of Princesses. BUT the atmosphere of the castle is just as rewarding. So that will be something you need to think about Princesses vs. the famed Cinderella Castle. Either way you'll have magical time! Good luck!
