I have ressies for Sept 18 - 25 at POR Riverside. I also have the same ressie thanks to new code Nov. 16 - 23. I have to make up my mind as to which week to go. When would you go and why is my question. Thanks for any help.

I've never been in September, but I've heard it's hurricane season and it rains everyday. I don't know if that's true, but you could probably look it up at weather.com.

I guess my vote would be for November. ;)

I'd go for November. The weather is calmer (chances for a hurricane are slim), and it's not nearly as hot. But, the real question is, can you wait the extra 2 months???? :D

Good Luck deciding!!!

Erin :D

I have some friends who go to WDW in September because they say that's there favorite time of the year. (Due mostly to kids just starting in school and lower crowds, and still nice weather.)
But being in IN, November would be a nice weather break for you too. :)
Either way, you are going. Enjoy yourself! :)

Here's what the Farmer's Almanac says about the weather during your time in September. I don't know about November, because I don't think the new Farmer's Almanac is out yet...it goes from Nov-Oct. each year. It's not always right, but darn near it!LOL

September 18-21 Cool, thunderstorms. 22-27 Tropical storm possible.

I would go in November!;)

I posted a thread asking about conventions etc. for november as I was looking for either 1st,2nd or 3rd weekend. The wk that you are asking about is a clear one so that's why I booked nov. 15-17 today. Hurricane season I know for 'discounts' to Jamaica are through October I believe so like everyone else agrees I think the weather and the lower crowds will be with you in November. Just think of it as more time to save up spending money.:p

I've heard that crowds are very light in September, but it's also a much higher probability of rain. We'll be there 11/14 - 11/23. We went the day after Thanksgiving last year and the weather was absolutely beautiful.

Ive been @ both times and September is my pick!

I've always gone at the end of September and it rains mybe two days on and off of a week.

November I've done it at the end it was to cold for me most of the ten days but the Christmas decorations were nice!

My next trip is in nine weeks! September 23rd-October 4th! ;)

I go annually at both of those times. I prefer the November because the weather is a bit more moderate.

Crowds in September are indeed light.

You can kind of tell when crowds are the lightest... during the resorts "value" season.

I would go in November. The weather is great, low crowds and that week in particular has nothing going on- no hoildays, etc..
Have fun!!!!!

I was there last year the same time that B3LM (Beth) was there. I agree with her. November was a wonderful time to go. I enjoy the Christmas decorations, though. And, I found the crowds to be fairly light, for the most part. We didn't get hardly any rain and the weather was wonderful.

B3LM - where are you staying this trip? Perhaps the "magic" upgrade gremlins will follow you again?!!! One can only hope!!!
