Help me please....as I need it

My daughter booked a trip for 5 of us, so the reservation is in her name. She paid the initial deposit/insurance and plane tickets and I am to pay the remainder. My question is .... I am the one who has the Disney Visa Rewards and I am on the reservation list with her but can I call on April 7th since I am the card holder and get the free dining (if it does indeed happen) & then pay my portion ??? Or could she call with my card number/expiration date and they would accept that? I guess I am not sure how Disney checks these things and would know the card wasn't in her name??

I was going to pay my portion on my visa card (as I can then enjoy the points and have longer to pay) but I didn't know if I could do this as the reservation number, which I have, is under her name.

I don;t want to mess anything up as we have our ADR's made and plane tickets purchased (thru Disney package).

You cannot change the reervation unless you pretend to be her--not a good idea. I don't know about the paying for it withthe Visa card thing since the card will have your name on it and hte reservation will be in her name. Sorry I can't be of much help, but I hope it all works out for you. Maybe you could do it as a three way call or you could call while your DD is with you?

I don't mind giving her may number/expiration date & CVV code but I want it to go okay for her. I guess I will have to sprinkle some and hope all goes well.

Do you have 3 way calling on your home phone or cell phone? You could call that way.

hmmm... I know I don't have it on my home phone, but I will check with my verizon for my cell phone as I am not sure how to work it if I do.
I am sure if I called today they wouldn't know what I should do as they aren't even sure about the free dining. But, would they know if she could call and give them my card number and such.... or if it is like any other time I have called, I always talk to a different person who has a different response

Could you add your daughter to the card? It only takes a call to the card company to do it. Then your daughter could call. That is waht my Mother and I have done.

Great I think I will give my daughter a call and Boy this dining thing could a person to . Maybe I should get down and and everything would be fine.
oh, Could I remove my daughter then next week as easily as I added her?

I do not see why you could not remove her from the card I have had to do that with my husband who tends to spend too much and it only took a phone call, BUT I would wait until after the trip just in case they want to see her card since it was booked in her name. You can always hold the card you do not have to give it to her. Hope it works for you!

I am not worried in the least bit about her being on the card as she is one of the best things in my life and I totally trust her with anything that I have. I did talk to Disney twice today and they said that I would be able to call and pay off the trip with my visa even tho the reservation is in her name. But, you know how it is sometimes, it is just who ever you talk to when you call.
