Ok first where do we fly into?
what is a good hotel/ condo rental = 6 people
when is a good time to go (I need it to be warm)
any advice would be great!!!

sorry, I can only help airport info.

You can use 4 airports around the area. My order of airports if all costs were equal or very close to being equal would be:
  • sna (orange county or john wayne)
  • long beach
  • lax

I would look at the difference in price of airfare to these airports & then add ground transpo costs. will you be renting a car, shuttling, taxi, or using disneyland express & for how many people? those things may need to taken into consideration.

also, you may want to look at the stickies at the top of this section for 1st timers and difference btwn going on-season & off-season for the best time of year to go is. I, personally, like lower crowds so I like april/may, which is warm enough for me. sometimes even then, it's sizzling (but I tend to melt if it's over 80 degrees  ).

good luck with your trip planning!:goodvibes

It depends on if you want to stay at a Disney resort or a Good Neighbor Hotel. What are the ages are the people in your group. We have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and just love the magical feel you get by staying there. You could slep 6 people in their standard room but it would be a tight squeeze. There is 2 double queen beds and a sofa sleeper.
This trip[ we are taking DMIL and need two full baths and as close as we can be to the parks. We are staying at Desert Inn after comparing it to Tropicana, BW and Park Vue.
Desert Inn was the only one that could gaurantee us adjoining rooms.

You can't beat the location of the Grand Californian. If you're flexible with dates maybe you can find a good deal. It was sooo nice to have such a short walk upon park closing and breaks especially. And the entrance to CA was closer than the check-in. It was amazing!
