Please help. I need to know what the best places to eat at Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We have never been to either park before and we love to eat. Also, is there any recommendations for Animal Kingdom, we will be eating lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, I LOVE IT, and need a place to eat dinner.

We LOVED 9 Dragons for dinner in China. CR was also very good despite being 30 minutes behind for ADRs. 50s Prim Time Cafe was great for lunch...we were not in the mood for "aunt Donna" so she backed off, but after some food in our bellies (and a rest) we were goo to go and "aunt Donna" was in rare form! I do not suggest Sci-FI for dinner (long wait time with ADR an the food was lousy), BUT they seem to get good lunch reviews. We didn't eat dinner at AK, rather went over to Boma, which was very good.
O, Hollywood n Vine made for a great early lunch, too!

DHS: Hollywood Brown Derby has very very good food and service. Not as big on "experience" as the 50's prime time cafe or Sci-Fi Dine-In though. It depends on who is in your party? Just adults? Little kids or big kids? :goodvibes
Epcot: Biergarten is a great buffet and they have entertainment scheduled throughout the day and night. LeCellier is great if you can get the ADR, it is a small place and very popular so it fills up fast. If you like upscale, Bistro De Paris is a wonderful restaurant, (it does not take the dining plan though if you are using it) and it gives a great view of Illuminations if you like to eat late.

With very young children at DHS: I would suggest 50's PTC. If the children are a bit older and able to feed themselves, then I would definitely suggest Sci Fi Dine In Theater, food is fine if you stick with the burgers and shakes. It's a lot of fun. HBD has a little better food but there is nothing there in the way of atmosphere that would entertain children while these other two scream Disney.

AK does not have a lot of TS places. If you are doing rainforest cafe, your other TS options for dinner at the park would be Yak n Yeti and Tusker House (buffet). I'm not a fan of Yak n Yeti (have tried it twice) but most people like it. We prefer to take the short bus ride over to AKL and eat at either Boma or Jiko.

At Epcot, Bistro de Paris is definitely fine dining. They do not take the dining plan and there is no children's menu so children would pay full adult price. This is our last meal of every trip and we love it but it's an adults type of place and in all the times I have been there, I've only once seen a child, about 8 years old. Meals are long and not what a child would enjoy sitting through. There is very limited seating that allows a decent view of Illuminations and I would not go here expecting to be able to see them.

With kids, I would recommend Coral Reef. Food is pretty good and the huge aquarium is a hit with big and little kids. If you want steak, Le Cellier is the most popular restaurant in all of WDW and is quite child friendly. Teppen Edo is another fun choice for a family meal.

Hi! We had our first trip to Disney World this past summer and had a WONDERFUL time! Here are our thoughts:

- at Hollywood Studios, we ate at the 50s Prime Time Cafe. It was a blast! Our waitress was great, and stayed in character. The table beside us got in trouble for not eating their veggies, and when she brought out their dessert, it had green beans underneath whipped cream! If you like the concept, it is very fun. We also ate at the Hollywood & Vine buffet for dinner. It was absolutely terrible!!! We are planning our next trip for this May, and we plan to try the Sci-Fi this year.

- at Epcot, we LOVED Le Cellier in Canada, and Tutto Italia in the Italy Pavilion. Le Cellier reservations can be hard to get, but you should be able to get reservations at Tutto. I would have enjoyed the Biergarten, but I don't our children would've liked it. This year, we hope to try Coral Reef.

- at Animal Kingdom, we LOVED Yak & Yeti! I was very surprised....we had read some reviews that weren't so great....so we didn't know what to expect. It was really, really good! I might recommend that you consider having Yak & Yeti for lunch, and Rainforest for dinner.

Hope this helps! We have pictures of all of the food we ordered at each of our meals in our trip report. (You can click on the link below in my signature if interested.) Have fun!

At DHS, it we are doing a TS meal, it is probably at the 50s Prime Time. The food is comfort food - good, not great, but certainly worth repeating. The interaction with the servers can be fun, and they seem pretty good at judging your mood. SciFi has great theming, but not such a good value - the food seemed overpriced. I would definitely recommend hitting it at 3 pm or so for a sundae or something, however.

AK - We've done Tusker House (and have ADRs there for our next trip), but, in general, we just grab a quick bite at Flame Tree BBQ, rather than sit for a full TS meal.

Epcot - I'm a big fan of Rose & Crown, but we also like Le Cellier (especially the soup) and Biergarten. Allergies keep us from some of the seafood restuarants, and our kids keep us from Chefs de France.

You have just landed in Rock Hill, please set your clocks to 1992...

you might wanna check out the menus and reviews at a number of sites... as ever restaurant will in time be listed as someones favorite when you ask the open question of 'whats good'

mama melrose at DHS is good middle of the road italian.

Le Cellier at Epcot is often a hard reservation to get but it is a good steak house.

The often over looked Le Chefs France in Epcot is probably the best value in world showcase.
