Okie, we're going the first week in Feb. We'll have 6 nights for 2A/3C. So that will be 12 TS, 12 CS for adults, 18 TS, 18 CS for children and 30 snacks. I am not a snacker, but the kids and hubby are. So they'll probably gobble up all my snacks without a second thouhgt. Here's what I want to get out of our experience:

I want at least one character lunch and character dinner. More than that is just gravy, but it would be fun. We are not big breakfast eaters. Doughnuts and coffee are fine with us. What are some good, family-oriented places for us to use our TS credits? I want places that aren't "stuffy". The CS meals we'll probably choose something along the way and just be quite flexible about those.

I would do dinner at 'Ohana because the food is great and it is a lot of fun for kids.

I think 1900 Park Fare will be reopened when you're there, that is a great character dinner (buffet), the food is very good and character interaction and service are fantastic.

Garden Grill in Epcot gets good reviews for character meals (I will be trying it out next month). Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun - I've only been there for breakfast. You might want to try Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace in MK for lunch or dinner.

Currently, you can get a big box of Entenmann's donuts as a snack credit in the hotel giftshops, it looks like this may no longer be an option in 2008 as they are revamping the dining plan and it looks like the snack credits might be much more restricted again.

I love dinner at LTT. The characters, food and atmosphere are great! Dinner at 'Ohana and lunch at Sci-Fi are other favorites.

Although I haven't tried it Coral Reef might be fun as well.

My vores would be:

Crystal Palaca - MK Pooh and friends
Chef Mickey's - Contemporary Resort - Mickey and friends
O'hana's - Polynesian
Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time at MGM
Garden Grill at EPCOT - Mickey, Chip and Dale
Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge
Cinderella's Feast at 1900 Park Faire - Grand Floridian

check our Allears for menus and plan from there

I agree with the previous poster to check out allears.net. :goodvibes Our kids are 9 and 7 and our Table Meals are - Coral Reef in Epcot, The Plaza and Crystal Palace at the MK, Sci Fi at the Studios, and Chef Mickey at the Contemporary. I figured out our itinerary and then figured out which restaurant would fit in well with our plans. Chef Mickey we are actually doing on our last morning there as we head out of town! Good luck planning and have a great trip!

I'm currently looking at all these restaurants and trying to figure out where (and when!!) to eat what. Thanks for the suggestions. Does anyone know anything about the Princess Story Time at Akershus?
