We will be arriving on November 30, and only staying at the HRH just the one night (we have a timeshare condo that we stay in otherwise). We don't get in until 5pm, and the parks that day close at 6pm, so by the time we get our car and check in, the parks will probably be closed. That day is my BF's birthday. He has never been to USO and I want to show him how fantastic it is, even before entering the park!

I have a couple of ideas, but are not really sure what to do. We do have the free access for CityWalk with our print at home tickets. I think he would like Margherittaville (sit on the patio, right???), or Pat O'Briens for the dueling piano bar, but am not really sure what else to do. Any ideas on where to eat? We have no problems with hoping around from place to place....and we won't have to worry about driving home....just stubbling back to the hotel!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....although I know the inside of the parks fairly well, I don't know Citywalk at all. I have never really been there after the parks closed, so don't really know whats there.

Any advice? :confused3

Thanks - Jo

contact the hrh in advance and see what they can do for the room.
i know you can order a birthday cake but it's not cheap.

sometimes the hrh staff can do a bit of mummy dust for you if they know the details in advance.

at city walk, let them know about the birthday. quite a few places will give you an appetizer, dessert or drink on the house.

still working on that report!
got sidetracked
