I am planning a last minute Thanksgiving trip. Traveling with my husband and three daughters (ages 15, 13, and 10).

I just booked two fireworks view rooms at Hilton Buena Vista in Disney Springs for five nights. We are planning four park days and will probably purchase tickets from Undercover Tourist. We will plan on buying LL (I think we can buy three days in advance?). I’m not worried about booking table service as we prefer quick service anyway. Still need to book flights but will do so this weekend.

What am I missing or forgetting?

Thank you!

you got the big stuff!

Fyi because you’re off-site with that short booking window consider planing which parks on which days by putting hardest to get LLs later and realize things like SDD and TBA are most likely going to be out of reach. Check Thrill data a couple days before booking to see what’s booked up and again the night before you book.

Good luck on your trip. One of our favorite trips was planned in under 2 weeks, complete spur of the moment. Careful advance planning is nice, but the most fun comes from spontaneity.

I would start by booking flights. You may want to adjust your days slightly based on airfares and available fight times. Unless money is no object, the price of flights is the biggest wildcard when traveling. Leaving on a Friday night might save you $1,000 over flying Saturday morning, for example

The hotel, dining and ticket part is easy as there are far more options.

You can often get great dining options by just searching in the evening to pick up cancelations.
