Hey there everyone!
I am planning my trip to WDW for Californias Spring Break. We will be in Florida from April 22 to May 1st. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom villas with a savannah view. I need YOUR help picking places for dinner. So far we have three character meals all for dinner, we are worried about making breakfast seeing how far the places are from our hotel. Please help!
Here is my schedule so far:
P.s. there is four of us. Me (16) Sister (terrible 7's) Mom, and grandma.

4/22-Flying from Cali-WDW. Doing DTD this night! Please pick a dinner place!
4/23-Magic Kingdom-Crystal palace dinner
4/24-Magic Kingdom- 1900 for dinner
4/25-Epcot-The princess dinner, akershus
4/26-Epcot-Pick dinner!
4/27-Animal Kingdom-pick dinner
4/28-MGM Studios-Pick dinner
4/29-Universal-
4/30-Universal-
5/1 fly home!

So far we have three character meals. I need your reccomendations on your fave restaurants. I am thinking the 50's diner looks interesting too! HELP! This trip is stressing me out! :scared1::eek:

For Epcot, I highly recommend Garden Grill. I also recommend, since you are staying at the Animal Kingdom, if you decide for a random table service meal at the resort that you go check out Sanaa at Kidani Village, my best meal yet at Disney.

I say since you're already thinking about the 50's Diner, go for it! The food is delicious, and the experience is just so much fun! When isn't it fun watching your parents get treated like children? XD

I'm STRONGLY seconding this. I haven't been to the 50s Diner as of yet, but usually the choice for Table Services at MGM is between there and SciFi Dine-In, which I highly recommend you don't go to, though it does sound cool, the food isn't good and you will be stuck in there for awhile in very uncomfortable seats. I wish that I had not decided to go to SciFi, when I was last there.

50s Prime Time Cafe is amazing! We went there as a group of eleven in May/earlyJune of last year and we all had a blast (our group ranged from age 11 to mid seventies).

DTD, Planet Hollywood is amazing. A big hit was the Captain Crunch Chicken. Mmmmm.

I agree, the food at Sci-Fi is terrible. It gave me food poisoning the one time I ate there.

Personally, I love Mama Melrose in DHS!

I'll throw in that one we did not enjoy was the Plaza Restaurant at MK. It was nice, but it was small and crowded and we could've gotten the same food for cheaper at Cosmic Rays.

I've always wanted to try the 50s diner.

We've also always wanted to try the 50's primetime cafe - so I would go there :D!

At Epcot, TepanEdo! It is the BEST Japanese steakhouse you will ever eat at. The interaction is cool, too! :)

'Ohana is my favorite restaurant.

I do love Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, and Teppan Edo. All in EPCOT (:

Agreed! Mama Melrose is much better than 50s Prime Time. 50s is fun, but the food is eh. But Mama Melrose gives you the yummy Italian food (:

Wow! That stinks. My family got lucky. They gave my sister undercooked (well I think it was rare, but well-done is our thing) meat. We sent it back and it came back STILL undercooked. And some of the food they gave us looked inedible.

I believe my favourite meal on my last trip was at Via Napoli, so I would recommend that.

Since you're staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas, and you're worried about breakfast, I would recommend you have breakfast at Boma. It's not too far of a walk from AKV to AKL, and the food is really good. Also the Jungle Juice (or Frunch as it was called...). Definitely the Jungle Juice :teeth:

You might also want to try Sanaa for dinner, since it's at AKV, the food was rather nice, and you can watch the animals outside while you dine (but that's probably not a big draw for you, since you already have a savannah view. Hey, that rhymes!).

Any of the restaurants at the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, the Swan or the Dolphin might be a good choice, because they're within walking distance (or if you're lazy, there's a boat as well) from both DHS and Epcot.

Maybe you should check out the menus and see what restaurants serve the best food for everyone in your family. It sure helps me decide where to go, but then again, i'm a really picky eater... It's worth a look anyway. http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

DTD- Trex is awesome!
Epcot- there are so many good ones there but i would recommend La cellier or Beirgarten
AK- theres not that much there but Tuscker house is pretty good. i havent been there for Dinner but it sounds good
DHS- 50s Prime Time is AWESOME! the waiters (or as they call themselves your "cousins") are hilarious! last time we ate there, our waitor fed my mom some of her salad :D

For dinner in Epcot, go to Le Cellier! It's a steak house. I'm sure you can look up their menu.
