Help please...My husband and I are taking our youngest children (5 & 6 year old boys) in October. I picked the QS dining plan this trip and decided to book 3 table services OOP. Each son has a favorite character (Mickey ::MickeyMo & Pluto pluto:) and I have Ohana breakfast and Chef Mickeys breakfast reservations.

I need help deciding between either Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine Dinner Fantasmic! or Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant Dinner.

I originally booked the Halloween dinner since we may skip MNSSHP (we are bringing costumes but going to play by ear and get tickets day of if they are available and we think the boys can handle a late night) but I thought the boys would think SciFi was fun.

Sci Fi!!! It's delicious. So well themed. The kids will love it. Moderately priced.

Hollywood and Dine is terrible food, so overpriced and lousy character interaction. I've been to Disney over sixty times, and it's the only meal where I've felt truly ripped off.

Thank you your advice :)

Holy moly, and you skipped the table service dining plan? Chef mickeys is like 200 dollars. I got food poisoning from Minnie's seasonal dine so I don't recommend it to highly, but I will say that its more of a girl place. With 2 boys, they should love chef mickeys and I would scifi dine in, thats usually a fun place.

well, it's an additional $350 to do regular dining plan for the nights and members of our family...scheduling this trip last minute (less than 100 days) we didn't know how many TS we would really get, so instead I decided to keep the QS plan (with 48 QS credits) and do around $350 TS OOP. My growing boys and husband love to eat and with the F&W festival I know we wont have a problem using all of those credits. LOL

Ohana's is over 100, Chef Mickeys is 200 and Scifi will probably clock in around 100. If you can switch, probably be a better deal.

Since you already have 2 character meals I would definitely go with Sci-Fi. It's much more affordable OOP and our kids love it.

SciFi for sure! Your boys will LOVE IT! Its a cool quiet restaurant with an awesome theme. I personally like the food....burgers, shakes, onion rings, wings, spinach dip, and shakes, ALL GOOD! My personal fave is the oreo shake. OMG! AMAZING!
