We have finally decided to go in October 2013 (thanks to everyone who helped with that decision), now we have our resorts narrowed down to 4 and would like your input on these.

A little background: It is just my 22 year old daughter and myself going, our first mother daughter trip. We will be going to Epcot for F&W and MK for MNSSHP. We have stayed at POP and the BC before, I have stayed at WL and we have never stayed at POFQ. Our dates are 10/5-10/11

I don't think that you can beat staying at an Epcot resort during F&W. If your choices are POP, BC, WL and POFQ then I would go with BC for sure!

My vote is for the BC! :thumbsup2 There is no better place to stay during the F&W festival! ::yes:: The international gateway is just steps from your room, which after a long day of EATING will be heavenly. :goodvibes The bus to MK for MNSSHP is convenient, just make sure you allow plenty of extra time... we like to do a pre-MNSSHP dinner at one of the monorail resorts or inside MK so we are already close by. Have fun planning!

I agree that the BC would be a great choice as you can't beat the location to Epcot for F&W :thumbsup2. With that said, I agree with TigrLvsPooh that I would allow extra time for getting to MK for MVMCP as it can take a little longer from the BC. Have a great trip :wizard:.

Another vote for BC!!! With F&W Festival going on it would be really nice to be in a resort within walking distance.

Yea, its a no brainer for me too, BC is the way to go for F&W.

Throw another curve ball out there, I just thought, we could stay at either POP or POFQ and use the money we save to buy annual passes and go back in May of the following year also, then we hit 2 of the months we wanted to go, what do you think?

Go once and stay at a convinent location or go twice and stay at POFQ (a phenominal resort in it's own right) Go twice. Hands down.

Hhmm, that's a tough decision! I think it would be awesome to stay within walking distance of EPCOT during F&W but it would also be great to go back in May. I will say my husband and I have stayed at a value, moderate, and deluxe and prefer the deluxe. I think it all just really depends on how badly you want to go back in May. If this is something you would prefer doing then I say stay at POFQ, get the AP, and go back in May.

Have you looked at Dolphin/Swan? Sometimes you can get a great rate from them that brings their deluxe status down to moderate pricing. Of course, you would have to be aware of the Gartner IT convention which is usually 3rd week in October and takes over both of those hotels as well as a lot of the other Epcot resorts.

Seems like an odd ranges of choices. Why would you even be considering both POP and BC unless money was a factor? And if money is a factor, for two adults I say split the difference and go POFQ.

I can afford both, we like both and are torn between them

Get the annual pass and go twice. HANDS DOWN!! You might even find room for a 3rd trip sometime therefore making it even cheaper!

If only going once...hands down Beach Cub for its proximity to Epcot and F and W. if going twice, POFQ. Nice resort, compact, still close to Epcot and will save you money for your next trip.

I agree with this! We went twice in 2010 & 2011! We had so much fun!

We are now on a every other year plan because DS & DD will have high school marching band commitments for the next 7 years.

Go twice! :thumbsup2

I went with Port Orleans French Quarter just because you've never been there.
