So I can only choose one trip to take this year an wanted to know which one you all would think is best and which one might have fewer crowds. The options are July 5-10 or the week of Thanksgiving (arriving the Saturday before). Thanks for your thoughts!

Personally, I would take the November trip. July is nice around my community. We enjoy our yard, garden and pool. November in Indiana is usually cold, damp and drab and we more fully appreciate getting away to some sun and mild temps. I see you are from GA and that would be less of an issue for you but you still might have more to do in your community and neighborhood in the summer and welcome the late fall trip. ???

Also, you'll get to see Christmas decorations the last week of Nov. What a fun kick off to the season!

Sorry, I can't answer your questions about crowd levels. I would guess they would be similar since both times are school breaks.

I would pick the November time frame as well. Most of the holiday decorations and the castle dreams lights will be up. There is nothing like WDW with the holiday decorations truly magical. and the weather is much more comfortable as well.

I agree with the PP's about November. As much as I  WDW, going in the heat of July around the 4th is too much even for me. The humidity makes me feel like I'm carrying a brick on my chest. And people don't seem to have as much patience when it's hot as they do when it's cooler. AND it gives you more time to save some Washingtons for all those Disney goodies!! (I know the correct term is "Benjamins" but we're in a tough economy)

November for sure. Crowds may be similar, but it's so much easier to deal with crowds when it's cooler. The heat is so draining. We find we can stay at the parks for hours longer when the weather is cooler. Plus the Christmas decorations are so beautiful!

NOVEMBER!!!! I have been in Nov. and it is a wonderful time! The Christmas decorations are up, it won't be too hot! The week after Easter is when we used to always go when I was growing up. A couple of years ago when my dd was 8mo we went at the weather was perfect! Shorts during day ,jackets at night! Abosolutely beautiful with the Christmas Decorations!!!!
