Im planning are 1st disney trip were not big breakfast eaters but want to plan 3 breakfast ts meals.can you please suggest 3 and your opinions. It will be my beautiful wife and 4 year old daughter. Thanks in advance.

I love the Lilo and stitch breakfast at the polynesian, Chef Mickeys or the rest. at the Swan (characters on the weekend) and Akershus in Epcot with all the princesses. I have done the Playhouse Disney at Hollywood and Vine in HS and it was ok, I did when DD was 3 and 4, she enjoyed it more at 3. All of them have great Character interaction as far as food goes the Ohanas at the Polynesian is the best. Great Juice!

Cape May breakfast at the Beach Club is fun, it's a buffet and the characters come around to your table. I believe it's Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, and Chip or Dale. The food is really good & we love it. 'Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian is also awesome. It's served family style, and Mickey, Pluto, Stitch, and Lilo come around to your table. The food is FANTASTIC. We've also had breakfast in the castle, which is awesome and your daughter would get to see the princesses. That one is harder to book though.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, and Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom are also options that we've never done, but have heard good things about. They're all character meals as well.

With a daughter, I'd say you have to book a princess meal, so that would be either CRT at the Castle or Akershus at Epcot.

I think the best overall experience was at Cape May at BC (by Epcot) with Minnie Mouse. It was very quiet, buffet was nice, standard breakfast food. Service was excellent.

I think the best food is Tusker House with Donald at AK. Not being a huge breakfast eating family, we found many non-traditional breakfast items there and enjoyed the food so much more than we thought we would.

For non-character breakfast, Boma (also a buffet) at AKL has a nice one.

Our faves with characters are Princess in Norway, Crystal Palace and now Chef Mickeys (just edged out Cape May)

Chef Mickeys it's a Buffet and it's fun.
Kona for the Tonga Toast
GF Either the cafe or 1900 are both great .

Chef Mickey's is always a blast for us. We loved the princess breakfast too.

Please, please, please- go to Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. The food was GREAT (DD4 & I are a little picky, and we LOVED it!) and the character interaction was great. We didn't feel rushed or anything! Also, we have done Crystal Palace for breakfast and that was pretty good too- both for food & character interaction. We haven't done a whole lot of breakfast people (we're dinner folks... We'd rather work our way up to a meal versus eating right out of the gate, so to speak...). Any way you cut it, it's Disney and you'll have a ball with your breakfasts- they're all great, I'm sure! Enjoy & Happy Disneying!!

Our top 3 breakfast adrs are:

1. Crystal Palace - Pooh characters with Puffed French Toast!

2. Chef Mickey's - good breakfast buffet w/the Fab 5: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy,
Pluto, Donald - fun/energetic atmosphere

3. Ohana - relaxed/polynesian atmosphere, food served to you, Stitch &
Pluto are a riot!

I do not have children but teach 16 of them everyday and took my mom to CRT for b-fast when we were there last month and she said it was an experience she would never forget so I'm sure your 4 year would feel the same! I would think anyone with a daughter would need to eat with Cinderella at least once in their lifetime. If I had to choose between Chef Mickey's and Tusker House, I would choose Tusker House...it is the only place you will see Daisy Duck and you will see all of the other characters that you will see at Chef Mickey's. It also seemed that the characters were not as rushed at Tusker House as they were at Chef Mickey's and we thought the food was a lot better and we even had a later ressie at Tusker House than at Chef Mickey's. Hope You Enjoy Your Trip!

We are NOT breakfast people BUT we've definitely taken time out for the Character Breakfast at O'hana.....It's a wonderful place for small children...they get the kids to parade around the room with mariachi's....the kids have a wonderful time....the food is good, autograph books - get them to sign...your 4 year old will have a BLAST! Lilo, Stitch, Goofy, Minnie, Chip, Dale....

Then you can enjoy the Lush Tropical decor of Polynesian and head to the second floor to hop on the monorail and head to MK !

Ask if your kids can be in the "Front of the Monorail!"

Lots of FUn !

Akerhaus! A little girl needs to dine with the princesses and Akerhaus beats CRT hands down. The food is better as is the character interaction and if you're on the dining plan its only 1 credit where CRT is 2! You also get a nice pic package with Belle with the price of your meal. For your other 2 breakfasts I'd go with Chef Mickey's and Cape May.

Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace are both good, and fun with characters. If you arent on the dining plan, try Trails End at Fort Wilderness. Good food and not overly priced.

I also would choose CM and Crystal Palace for my breakfast. We love CM and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The food we find is really good and the children can choose what they want. So if their hungry they eat lots if their not then they eat little.

I vote for Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House in the AK.

Excellent food, great character interaction. Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy all dressed in safari gear, so cute. They stop at every table for autographs and pics, and Goofy led the kids in a dance around the room.
:thumbsup2
Go at 8am and be out in time for park official 9am opening - we were the first on the Safari ride.

If you are looking at a character breakfast, I would recommend O'hana. We really love the fact that it is all you can eat and they bring the food to you. The POG juice is also amazing. CRT would be great to see the Princesses.

If you prefer a non-character breakfast, can't go wrong with Kona Cafe.

We loved breakfast at Askerhus in Epcot. There's a buffet for cold items (yougurt, fresh fruit, pastries), and your waiter brings hot food to your table (bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes). It's served family style, so you can ask your waiter to bring you more of anything you'd like.

When we were there (a Saturday morning), the five princesses were Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella and Jasmine. They spent quite a bit of time at each table, and it had a nice relaxed feel to it. I think the Unofficial Guide has a chart that compares the guest to character ratio; at Askerhus it's roughly 25:1, whereas some of the others are 100:1.

I vote for Chef Mickey's or O'Hana. They are both good. However, Chef Mickey's is usually a lot harder to get ADR's for. You just have to keep calling.:yay:

I vote for Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House in the AK.

Excellent food, great character interaction. Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy all dressed in safari gear, so cute. They stop at every table for autographs and pics, and Goofy led the kids in a dance around the room.

I completely agree. The rope drop is right outside the restaurant and the Safari ride is right there. I went and got a Fastpass for the Safari before we were seated @ 915, by the time we were done eating it was time for our ride. The buffet also has some things that you won't find at the other breakfast buffets (I loved the spiced corned beef hash and like everyone says, the juice is very good). On the way, we also got a family pic in front of the Tree of Life without anyone in the background. Worked out nicely.

Definitely do Akershaus princess breakfast.

If you are not a breakfast person, this will still get it done. They do have bacon and eggs, but also a GREAT potato dish.

In addition they have cheeses, meats and fruit.

Plus our daughter was 4 the last time and LOVED it. We had no choice but to do it again in June. As a bonus, I think you get a nice picture for free.

It is definitely worth a TS credit on the meal plan and is even worth paying OPP.
