Help me pick a resort!

If rope dropping, there’s potential to save much more than 10-20 minutes by being at the front of the line. If not, then I agree.
For us, it's still not worth the per night difference.
This is the part I find interesting. People do not count the time waiting before entering the park, because it's not "park time". To me, you cannot just say the 60-90 minutes waiting to be let in doesn't count just because it's not park time.

OP: The swolphin sounds pretty good:)

For my family, that wait feels much more exciting and anticipatory than being stuck in a ride queue.

I love POR so much that I think it is worth the extra $60. You could find yourself in the middle of a cheer group at ASM - no thank you.

^ THIS - for me. It's a tough sell sometimes for DW, but the clock does not start on the ticket you bought until the park opens. If you have to get up early and wait an hour outside the gate to save yourself at least that much time in line while the clock is ticking, so be it - totally worth it.

We would choose ASM just because its for 1 night and your not even gonna be in the room. All Star Music for 172,00 a night is alot, I remember when the ASRs first opened 69.00 a night !!!... lol
