I have not read the whole thread but have you tried cheapcaribbean.com for specials? Out of your list, I would go to Turks. Have fun!
Key West does not have any direct flights from NY. You have to fly into an airport and then take a "puddle jumper" type plane.

We did the Sandals in the Bahamas and it was great! Since you only have a weekend, I would want to stay somewhat close. This resort is a super short flight and you never have to leave...well, except to go home.![]()
Oh, no! DH will not go for that! No "puddle jumper" planes for him!
He is finally able to fly in a regular plane without being drugged!![]()

I just went there for Thanksgiving. It was beautiful in the snow. I'll bet it would be even better in the spring.Of your choices I'd go with Quebec City. It is on my short list for future trips and looks like it would be a great place to visit. It's as close as you'll get to a European city in the eastern half of the continent.
Quebec City you better know your french I go there a few times a year and I always get people who don't speak english (thanksfully I speak French!)
Las Vegas, second Key West, second San Diego and San francisco

This is becoming more difficult than I would have imagined!
We don't speak French, at all! so now I am second guessing Quebec City!
I have been checking out all the suggestions here and it is very hard keeping this trip on our budget of $1500 because of the airfare to some of these places!

Disney World!!!!! Ok, I know some of you are like, what? Are they crazy? But we have our reasons.
I guess it wasn't meant to be! My mom who was suppose to watch our kids just told us she can't do it! So, luckily we have a close friend who babysits our kids and has watched them over night in the past. She is able to do it, so we decided to not go too far away. It actually works out well because now the kids get to stay at our house and we don't need to find a sitter for the dog!
