Help me pick a 2BR for First Time Family

Ha thanks - first time - learning a lot here.

The week before and after Easter are some of the most expensive weeks on the calendar. I'm risk averse, so I wouldn't rent points (even if you could find them) and would see what I could find for cash on the Disney website.

As others said, Riviera is the only one on your list with great transport to HS/Epcot. But it will be tough to get at 6 months out. I wouldn't write off Animal Kingdom Lodge just because of the transport. It's an amazing, unique resort that I think is perfect for a family visiting for the first time. There's no other hotel like it anywhere. Shouldn't be a problem to get a 2BR at AKL Kidani right now.

Yeah you'll be on buses to and from the parks, but the Disney bus system works pretty well. Also agree the Swan/Dolphin would be a great choice to pay cash if you decide renting is too risky. Amazing location, considered a Deluxe for the purposes of early park entry, etc. It's just more like a regular hotel and not as much "Disney" to it.

We had similar situation and chose AKL 2 br with Savannah view.
