Earth Station! That's IT. I'm sure of it! Right as you disembarked from Spaceship Earth. But you could go in there to make reservations witout riding SE.

Another poster talked about the cutting edge nature of Epcot back then. I remember just being literally AWED at the scope of the place. It's still pretty amazing.

i think the one near germany now sells crystal or glass souvenirs. that bldg. used to house the terminals. i remember the HARD reservation to get back then was Coral Reef.

Also, later on (probably in the late 90's/early 2000's), that same kiosk housed terminals for getting on the internet (for a fee). I remember they used to have the same kind in the hotel lobbies. They looked a lot like a big ATM machine.
