Help me get to the store.

I was going to Goodings. Selection and saving time is a priority. Selection because i have to buy Rice dream Milk. Time because I'm afraid of checking in too late and getting a stinky room. I wasn't too bothered about paying resort prices. I'm kinda immune, I live in a resort area now and am use to(unfortunately) high prices.

However, sounds like theres a new Publix that won't take us out of our way (less then 5-10 minutes).

By the way did I mention I am estimating we will have our rental car and be leaving the airport at about 5PM on a Monday. This could complicate matters.

Please Help me get to a grocery store that meets my needs and gets me to the POLY fast.

Reccomendations with directions from the airport greatly appreciated.

If you are taking I4 then the directions are simple. Get off at the Downtown Disney exit. On the Left would be Goodings on 537. If you go right on 537 ( U turn from the left hand lane) and go back under RT 4- -Go up a couple of blocks until you see Landry's Steakhouse on the left--Make that left. Go on that street for some distance( seems like a long time the first time you drive it) and pass Marriott World on the left. You will pass lots of construction, so don't get worried you are on the right street. At the end of the street you will find a clean, well stocked and inexpensive Publix. Everyone there speaks English, something they do not do at Goodings, and you can shop quickly and efficiently since this store was built in anticipation of Marriott World, which is to a large part still under construction. We shopped there many times while down at OKW last week. Goodings is such a rip off. I am so angry at myself for not seeking out another store sooner.
By the way, at 5 PM, I would check into the Poly, inspect my room to see if I liked it, and THEN go shopping ( you could always eat dinner at one of the myriads of reataurants on 537 while you were out.).
