dust bunnies that is. My "stick-vaccum" has bit the dust ;)

Can anyone recommend a good vaccum for tile floors?

Orecks.

They are a financial investment, but one you will never regret. When my Mom and Dad divorced, my MOm got so sick of hauling the heavy, cumbersome, and awkward vacuum up and down 3 different flights of steps to get them all clean. She went out and bought an Oreck one day when she had bruised shins. As broke as DH and I were when we first started living together, I insisted we had an Oreck vacuum.

I love that they are so lightweight, so compact, user friendly and very easy to change the bags. They have service and parts guarentees and sell back deals so that (1) the vacuum you have is always in good working order or (2) when it's not, you can purhase a new one (or a refurbished one... most places do carry there) at a reduced cost becuase they will always buy them back. The solutions and do-dads that they have to go with them work and work miracles. I don't remember noticing a specific tile thing, but there was no reason I would as we don't have tiles, but I would be surprised if there wasn't.

Go in, take a look, find out the benefits, and weigh them against getting a $60-$200 one.
