Thanks everyone for your input. Among other things, I didn't realize that so many rides at Universal would be accessible to my daughter. Gringotts too, even if she's still under 48 inches next summer. That realization alone is getting me more excited to plan. Universal will be new to all of us, and I obviously have a lot to learn about that park. And there are still lots of new experiences we've yet to do as a family, the more I think about it. We'll probably spend more time in World Showcase this trip than last time, for example. The Agent P game is right up our alley. The last trip my son and husband did one Agent P activity, but I think everyone would be interested to do more of that this year, and it will make exploring that area fun for everyone (especially since we're not big shoppers). And since we did Star Wars fireworks last time at HS, we have yet to do Fantasmic. Or the nighttime shows at Epcot and Animal Kingdom. etc. etc. And I guess I have some new planning challenges in thinking about different ways to organize this trip. Now that Disney Springs resorts get 60 day fast passes and Extra magic hours, I may look into them if I can find a good deal. Our last trip, we used PPO breakfasts to get into the parks early and be among the first in line for rides. It worked well for us, but was not very budget friendly. This trip, I may look into taking advantage of EMH instead of early breakfasts. How early do you need to get to the parks before the start of EMH for that to be useful? (e.g., if EMH starts at 8, can we arrive at the gate at 7:45 and still have short waits?) Since we'll likely be going in late August, I'd like to avoid the standing in line outside time as much as possible, including the pre-rope drop wait.
