I read a thread about a DIS member that was visiting Epcot with her DD and recognized the park background music playing from a CD they owned. Ugh, I know I should have written down when I saw it, but I didn't....
Jeff, I don't remember the thread...but are you looking for info on the music played at Epcot? I have the names of many of the songs/artists, if that's what you're looking for?

Donna - this thread was about her noticing that some of the park music was from a CD that she had at home. It wasn't a particular ride or show, just what I would call 'ambiance' music. It sounded like it would fall more into an instrumental/environmental category, and possibly even 'New Age'. She mentioned the CD and the song. I could just kick myself for not tagging it.
Jeff...the background music in World showcase, if this is what you mean...
Two of the songs are by Cusco (both on the Best of Cusco CD) titled Flute Battle and Montezuma
Other songs are:
~ They were Dancing Barefoot - Yehuda Poliker
~ Superwasp/Along the Coast of Norway/Neckbuster, by Seelyhoo
~ Native Funk, by Burning Sky...CD titled Blood of the Land
~ Concertina Set by Burach - CD The Weird Set
~ Imeland, by Groupa
~ Appalachian Morning, by John Williams - The Green Album
search for them on Amazon.com ...some of them have listening samples, I am sure you will recognize all that you hear from the music that's played in the World Showcase before Illuminations begins
