Help me find DPS info for family photo session...

After searching these threads... I am hoping that Disney Photographic Services still does a family photo session?
How and Where is this info? A phone # or website?
Why is it so hard to find?

Would anyone have package, price, and location info?
Would also love someone to share there exp and pics as well....

I found this using google and "disney photographic services" try calling them and see what you can find out!

Hiwaygal... I see that you are from Hampton, VA. Thank you for helping a fellow Virginian... (only now I am closer to WDW in SC).
My husband and I are originally from the area there and visit family every so often. It's A Small World After All..

I thought I had the info you were looking for already because I just got a package of information from Disney Photo services...but all it had was the wedding packages...then I went looking for the phone number, but didn't have that with me!! LOL! Then I got frustrated and just HAD to find the number! When I googled, it was like the last link on the page and it was just a blurb! I can't believe it's so hard to find either! You would think they would want that out there so more people could use it!!

I love Hampton...didn't grow up here, but I've been here about 10 years now and don't want to go anywhere else! But it IS a bit far from WDW! LOL!

Anyway...I hope you find the info you were looking for when you get a chance to call them!!

When are you going to Disney? DH2B and I are getting married there in September and we'll be using DPS for our photos...also on the weddings board here some people have DPS wedding photos you can look at...I know it isn't quite the same as what you are looking for, but it might give you an idea of the quality and stuff...

We are going in Dec. this year.
This will be our first trip during the holidays. We are taking the kids for Christmas and will be there during our 13th wedding anniversary...
We are way overdue for a family photo and thought that it would be nice to have DPS do it for me. I thought that it might be nice since everything will be decorated for Christmas too... I am not sure how it works with the family photo shoot about where they will take the pics (parks, resorts, etc.)
Hopefully I will get a minute today and try to call for more info and if I get anything I will try to post for others who might be interested...

if you get a chance please post what you find out-we are going next year for our 20th anniversary and would like to have some family pic's taken also.

Well it changes with how big your group is I think but my husband and I are having a photo session in december and we were quoted 2 options you could have the photographer for 1/2 an hour for $100 and you get 2 5x7 pics or for 1 hour with 20 4x6 pics for $295. They are really hard to get ahold of though we just had to leave a message and wait for him to call us back.

We had family portraits done last May by a photographer with DPS. We chose to have them done in World Showcase at Epcot before it opened at 11am, admist the flower and garden festival. They turned out okay, not the best photographs I've seen or very original posing, but it was a case of family all over and we happened to all be vacationing together so we went for it.
