On our first trip to WDW, in 2007, we rode the coolest attraction. I feel like it might have been in AK, but my husband thinks it was MK. It was a train like thing, but I don't think it was really a train because it wasn't loud. It took us through places where we could see neat things, like dinosaur bones or old ruins, that you can only see on this ride. It felt like getting a peek at a hidden piece of Disney. When we got off, all three of us agreed that it was a definite highlight of our day.

We're pretty sure it wasn't the People Mover or the monorail.

What was this ride?

Any chance it was the tram/train to Rafiki's Planet Watch? It is a bit out of the way at AK and never seems to be all that crowded (at least when we go).....

It could be the safari at Ak there are bones in the walls, and you see ginormous insect hills.

AK safari or Rafiki's planet watch train? There is also a Dinosaur ride but it isn't quiet lol

I have no idea what that'd be at MK. Maybe the peoplemover but there are no dinosaur bones, but you can see into attractions from the top. Also a gift shop and a model of EPCOT as it was intended. Jog any memories?

It wasn't a thrill ride. It was a slow, relaxing ride. Maybe it was the railroad. It must have been. I don't know. I don't think we did Rafiki's Planet Watch.

2007 was a long time ago, and my memory is sketchy. I wish I had written it down.

Was it back lot tour.at Hollywood studio's?

I will say you are probably right that it is not BTMR if it was not a "thrill" ride but for someone that believes that a "thrill" ride is more akin to Millenium Force at Cedar Point, BTMR could be considered a pretty tame (non-thrill) ride. LOL!

Ps-I do enjoy BTMR very much!

Another vote for the behind the scenes tour at HS although Catastrophe Canyon is fairly memorable.

Sketchy memories are a common occurrence on the boards, so don't worry about it. If it was slow moving it would have to be either Planet Watch or The MK Train (but I don't remember much in the line of Dino's on that one) or maybe even World of Energy. You also might be combining two different things in your memory. Have you gone to DAK? That has a big bone yard there, but it isn't a ride and lot's of Dino's. If you think of anything more specific, try again. That question was pretty vague and not really describing anything that I can remember in the parks.
