Help me figure out Ding Please.....

I got a ding on my computer, went to the website, it said $54.00 one way to Orlando. Starting to proceed and when I checked off the the date and time I wanted and proceeded, it told me the fare was a couple hundred dollars.
How do I get the $54.00 rate?
Not even sure if I'm going but wanted to go through the steps to see how it works.

Are you flying the dates where the Ding is valid ?

I didn't enter any dates at all.
