Help me figure out CRT price error?

We ate at CRT for first time last week for my birthday - it was ok. The children's menu is awful for a restaurant like this (should be more and varied choices available since price is so high) - I paid $7.50 for the same food at Kona the night before, so for $24.99 (I know photos are included, but holy smokes!), it's totally not worth it for kids.

Anyway, we are glad we tried it. Since we had to prepay for the entire meal in Sept. when we booked, I didn't receive a bill and I forgot to bring the total with me. We have DDE, so when the waiter came to the table, he reminded us that everything had been taken care of. I asked to see a bill, just to make sure about the tip, and he assured us that even the tip had been added in. Well, after just arriving home and checking my VISA bill, it seems as if there was like a 24% tip added on. Can someone help me figure this out?

DDE does not apply to cinderellas. that changed last year.

No, you are mistaken, it does apply to Cinderella's Royal Table. He even made mention that the Dining department took it off automatically - I am just out a few dollars, so that is why I am trying to figure out how high the tip amount was.

I'll just call Disney Dining tomorrow and get the correct figures. Thanks, Tiger

If the OP didn't get their DDE discount, then they were undercharged by $2.58 and didn't leave a tip.

On the other hand, I can't for the life of me figure this out either. The closest I could get was 109.37. That was with the DDE, plus the tax, and 19% tip (on the original amount - before the discount).

I just called Disney Dining and the computer has a built in price for DDE members that is higher than it should be: $33.79A and $21.79C - this is not a 20% discount off of the regular prices. They were stumped, so they suggested I email, and that is what I just did. Tip is 18%, by the way. Too high as our server only deserved about 10%, but that's another issue.

That is interesting. When we went in Dec, I asked about the DDE discount on
our already paid for meal, and was given a gift card to use anywhere in the park. The numbers didn't add up for us either but the waiter was awful and we just wanted out.

When I called about breakfast, they said you get the 20 percent on the meal but not the photo part of the cost. Maybe that is why it isn't working out right.

Does CRT automatically charge you a tip on your card regardless even if you dont have DDE? So say I went ahead and did CRT my card would get charged for the meal PLUS tip? And I thought at the time of booking your card doesnt get charged, only when you get there?
