Help Me Decide

I've just booked our Eurostar tickets so now I just need to decide what hotel to stay in. It's a toss up between Cheyenne & Hotel New York. Travelling will be me, dh, dd (4) & ds (8 months). DH wants to stay in HNY but I'm quite happy to save the £200 and stay in the Cheyenne (more spending money).

The pros for HNY is that it will be easier to pop back to the hotel is need be and a cooked breakfast. I can't imagine us having time to use the pool.

Any advice?

For me the deciding factor would be the time of year you're going - having done DLP in February there's no way I'd stay in the Cheyenne in the winter months. While it was quite cool seeing a 'western town' in the snow it was also bloody freezing!

Also just remembered that our building in the Cheyenne didn't have a lift (not sure if they're all like that) so a number of people were having to leave their prams in the foyer - not an ideal situation especially if the little one is having a nap.

We're going during October Half Term for 3 nights.

When we've been before we have only used our hotel for sleeping in but infer we're in HNY we'd probably use the bar too.

I'd go for Hotel New York - that way if anything goes wrong ou can blame HD as it was his choice .

Saving £200 by staying the in the Cheyenne is tempting, but what you have to ask your self is, will you use the pool in the HNY and would you want a cooked breakfast everyday and a shorter walk to the parks.

As your are going in October and I would be tempted to stay at HNY as the weather then can be a bit iffy.
