Help me decide..

So the game plan now is to do a split stay for our next trip - DH wants to split between BWV and BLT - but I'm thinking maybe VWL / BLT - I don't know a lot about Boardwalk - tell me why we will love it!

We just got back from a 5 night stay at BWV with a boardwalk view followed by 4 nights at GF (for a conference). BWV was awesome! Mornings on the boardwalk were so peaceful. We loved being able to walk to HS or Epcot. The pool was great and we did not find the Clown to be creepy. We have never stayed at VWL, but we had dinner there and getting to the place was a drag. If you are already staying at BLT for part of you trip (which we love, too), take advantage of switching to a different area. If you can get BW view, you will love it. If BW view is not an option, you will still enjoy the resort and the proximity to the parks.

Thanks! DH Has already said that he wants the Boardwalk view so I think that's what we'll go with
He generally lets me have my way, and I'm a "Magic Kingdom" girl - and he loves Epcot so I thought that this might be a good compromise for us..lol

If you are going the first week of December, you need to book your home resort right now. You are going to have a hard time finding anything open during that time because it is so popular with members.

If you don't own at the BWV, it is doubtful you will get the BW view at 7 months out. Same with VWL at 7 months out for December. It is very hard to get.

I've already got us booked at our home resort, but the hope it so switch to the BWV / BLT split.
If we can't get what we want this time, there is always next time

What I love about BWV is the proximity to Epcot. I Also really love the ice cream shop, bakery and food options on the boardwalk. We stayed there in February and it was so nice to walk down and grab an ice cream And people watch at night. I also liked being able to grab a pizza and a couple beers and spend the evening in the room. I think a split stay between the BWV and BLT would be a perfect trip!

We are doing a split stay between BLT and SSR this summer. I am looking forward to walking to MK for a dole whip!!
