Saturday May 23rd, I was originally going to book ADR's for dinner at Crystal Palace, but have decided we'll be eating their for breakfast on another day. So I thought we'd try a new restaurant for that evening. We're planning on getting an early start at the MK, break at our hotel for the afternoon, and then head out for dinner. Initially I thought we'd try the Liberty Tree Tavern, and then hang at the MK, but am wondering if we should try Les Chef de France at Epcot, and then just monorail back to the MK since they're open late into the evening and one of the suggested parks for that day. We are staying at the GF and we do have park hoppers. What would you do?

It all depends on your price range. Here are my suggestions:

Expensive:
- Narcoossee's (since you are staying at GF)
- California Grill (ALWAYS great!)

Relatively expensive:
- Le Cellier at Epcot
- Tutto Italia at Epcot

Moderate:
- The Wave at CR. (It is new. We have never eaten there, but friends of ours raved about it on their last trip, so we will be eating there in May.)
- Take the monorail to the Poly and try Ohana or Kona

Maybe we should try the California Grill. I'm already planning on reservations for Narcoose and Le Cellier.
Would that be better than the French restaurant and Liberty Tree Tavern?

I found Liberty Tree to be fairly generic...Chefs du France is great, but don't get the tuna - it's not as good as it sounds...I would choose Restaurant Marrakesh over any of them, but Chefs is good...

IMO going all the way to France to eat is just not worth it. The food is ok but not great. If you are going to be at MK I agree, try one of the resort Resturants, if you want something really nice and you are already doing Narcosse try Artist Point at WL, you can take the boat there and back, California Grill or Ohona are good choices too, Liberty Tree is just fair, it depends on what kind of meal you want.

We did Marrakesh last time and LOVED it. I was just trying to find new restaurants. We're there for 10 days.
Other restaurants we're thinking of doing this time (Please ignore my terrible spelling):

Biergarten
Citricios
GF Cafe
Narcoose
1900 Park Fair (1 x for breakfast/ 1x for dinner for my dd and the characters)
Sci-fi diner for lunch.(I really hate the food, but the kids are WOWed by the ambiance)
TRex for the kids on our downtown shopping day
Tusker House for breakfast
Yak and Yedit lunch (AK day)
Le cellier
Crystal Palace for breakfast
Rose and Crown

We have eaten at Coral Reef and Marrakesh and all the restaurants on the Boardwalk area...we stayed at YC last time

My son and husband are big breakfast eaters, so we'll sit down to breakfast every morning, and probably sit down for dinner every night, and some sit downs for lunch.

The boat to WL sounds good...I didn't know I could do that. The boat ride itself might be fun.
