Help me decide

We are set on our dates: June 10-17. I am a teacher and there is no way we can get away before this date.

Who will be going: Definately myself, DH, DD (4), DS(17) and POSSIBLY DS (19) and DS (19) - my college kids are soooo non-committal this year.

We have stayed off and on Disney - we like onsite best. We have stayed at Dixie Landings a few times.

We are thinking a few different ways but can't decide:
Family suite at ASMusic
Cabin at Ft Wilderness
Two rooms at a Moderate (asking, or begging connecting)

My thoughts are towards two rooms with the thought we will cancel if the older two don't come along.

Suggestions, thoughts, anything you might see we might want to consider?

We always go for the adjoining rooms. Don't gworry about begging for adjoining, because since you have a young one, they will guarantee the adjoining.

We really have been tempted by the cabins, but have never pulled the trigger. We like the idea of having the car right there and being able to cook and grill out.

Just thought of this question...if I book 2 rooms do I pay only 1 deposit? Also how many days out can I cancel 1 room without paying?

If you are thinking about two room, you might want to consider staying at one of the DVC villa resorts like SSR or AKV. You can always rent DVC points from a DVC member and get the stay much cheaper than Disney would charge you directly. I've never personally rented the points but I have read a ton about it on the DVC forums.

Try getting connecting rooms at Port Orleans Riverside (Dixie).

Rent Points from a DVC member and stay in a Villa.

You are smart in planing way ahead.

Gee I think teachers get a deal at the Swan and dolphin....Maybe two connecting rooms if the price is right? If not, then I agree with the pp, rent points for a villa. you will love it!
