Tony's and Donald Safari breakfast. I haven't heard much about either of these, but have ADR's. Just wondering if I should keep them or cancel.
If not good, other suggestions in MK and AK (on DDP). I don't want Crystal Palace and LTT was booked.

*update* I've made some changes and have new questions. I have 4 TS meals.

Here's my choices:
Friday check in, late dinner either at Kona, DTD CS, or Epcot CS. Or try for a different ADR.
Sat. AK Donald Safari breakfast
Sun MK not sure where we will be when, but I do have a Kona 6:50 res and a lunch at Tony's res.
Mon. I have two...what do you think 10:10 princess breakfast, 4:30 Coral reef. Really want coral reef, but it would work out so much better on Friday...no availability. DD would love the princess breakfast.
Tue Boatwrights breakfast (out of pocket not dp)

Here's what I'm thinking, but I don't want our whole day to be eating, so I dont know:
Fri: DTD Wolfgang puck express
Sat: AK Donald Safari breakfast, and dinner at a CS in AK or DTD or POR (suggestions??)
Sun: MK Pinocchio Village Haus lunch, Aloah Isle snack, Kona Dinner
Mon: Epcot Princess Storybook breakfast, Coral Reef dinner
Tue: DHS Boatwrights breakfast

Suggestions??

I was at Donald's Safari in January of this year. The service and food was very good. My only complaint was it took a long time for all the characters to come around to the tables. Daisy skipped our area the first time she came around. The waitress went out of her way to may sure Daisy came to our table before we left. It was a good experience and I would go there again.:)

We had a horrible experience at Tony's on 9-21...I would not recommend it. That was all we did at Magic Kingdom though, so I don't have any other suggestions.

We can get into LTT for lunch instead of Tony's, or we could probably do the Plaza. Or I could try to get something for dinner somewhere else...
I'm so indecisive on this at the moment.

We've gone to Tony's several times. It's fine. It's not "wonderful", but most of the in park restaurants really aren't. We really liked it in Dec, the menu changed slightly and it was OK in May, and out of mostly the convenience (and the fact that we hate LTT and already have other character meals booked) we'll be there again on Thursday before the Halloween party.
If you're willing to leave the park, maybe one of the monorail resort restaurants would be better? Of course I'm saying that but I hated Kona Cafe which everybody here loves, so I guess I'm really not the right person to give an opinion after all!

I agree that the characters appear to be confused about the flow of tables there, but I had the opposite experience...
We had them come to our table on the way into the room, then again on the way out, so we had several visits from each character and they skipped tables in the process which lead to us having some pretty angry neighboring tables. Other than that, I enjoyed the food (kind of like Boma-lite) and love the convenience of being in the park to eat...

We went to Tusker House and it was great! The food was great adn the character interaction was wonderful. I swear we saw each character about 2-3 times. Each character had a CM with them because they did seem a little confused on where to go.

My kids loved it especially the little noise makers they give them.

Did you go to Kona in May? We did and it was bad. On our previous trip it was great, so I don't know what their deal was. I think we're going to try it again this trip, on our first night when we really don't have anything else going on.

Ok so here's where I'm at, at the moment:

Fri dinner Kona

Sat breakfast Donald Safari (sounds good)

Sun--the magic kingdom day in question-- I think I'm going to switch to a dinner TS, but I don't know where or when...I'm not sure how long we'll be in the park, how tired we'll be, etc...

Mon early dinner at Coral Reef

Tue breakfast Boatwrights

Donalds is our new favorite buffet. The food was outstanding! We had a fun meal here and there are so many choices!

We did Donald's in June and it was well worth it and so much more! My DD3 loved it. The server explained we would have plenty of time to get food before the characters come around and he was right on. Problem is my DD3 saw the characters and was only concerned with them. Needless to say she had half a piece of bacon and a couple pieces of fruit to go with her juice.... Which leads me to the juice. It's awesome!! Very sweet and very good!

This was by far the best character buffet we've been to. And we've been to Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus Hall. This beat both of those combined!

The only drawback is they take your picture as a family, but you don't get it with characters like you do at CRT.

Yup. I went in December '07 and didn't like it. But based on the raves here, I thought it was just me, or they were having an off night, or I ordered the wrong thing. So we tried it again in May. Still yuck.

In December I had pot stickers for an app (still included at that point) and they were cold and rubbery. I had shrimp and scallops for my entree, but as far as I'm concerned, 3 shrimp and 2 scallops is not an entree. It was good, but I was hungry an hour later. Dessert was supposed to be a macadamia torte, but it was icky-sweet gooey stuff in a shell.

In May, I had the crab cakes for an appetizer, and to me they were like the frozen Costco kind. My entree was a nut crusted fish which was OK, but honestly I had a similar entree at Rainforest Cafe and enjoyed it MUCH better.

So...I'm done there. I'm all for trying things once (or twice) to form your own opinion, but I don't think I'll be back there for a long while.
