I have narrowed it down to these areas to rent a home: (I posted earlier about Indian Ridge, but that didn't work out.)
I really wanted Windsor Hills, but it too expensive.
Here are the choices...

Indian Creek
Terra Verde
Legacy Park

All of them are about the same price. I would welcome any advice.

Here is a mapto show were the communities are that you are interested in. I am sure all of the homes are great fo your group or they would not be on the short list.

I would also talk with all 3 owners and ask questions that are specific to your group.

Such as you have big swimmers in your group are there pool towels? Certainly not a deal breaker but would be nice to have. Plan on using a crock pot do they have one ect..

Have a great time no matter where you stay.

If they are the same price, then I agree with Isla Bonita that you ought to choose based on what is important to your family. I think Terra Verda has a community pool which is always a nice plus.

Is Terra Verde listed as Tierra Verde on the map? Don't know which is the correct spelling, but, if it's the same, it looks like it's a little greater drive. Is that right?

What would be the quickest way from that resort to say, EPCOT?

thanks.

Yes that is were it is located a bit further out.

Quickest from TV would be the 535 its a toll rd but worth ever $ you spend.

Deb, 535 isn't a toll road but Osceola Parkway(522) is. From Terra Verde: if they go north on Poinciana it will lead them to 535 and then Osceola Parkway which takes you to World Drive. You can also go north on 535 and then west on 536 which will take you into the Downtown Disney area. :)

I thought 535 was Osceola parkway?

My bad sorry.

535 is also called Vineland RD and starts near mile marker 11 on 192 and runs north past the Lake Buena Vista Outlets and then keeps on going to become S Apopka Vineland Rd. It's an odd numbered road so it's got to run north/south.
We used Osceola Parkway when we stayed down in that area to get to Disney. I think it's just an entrance toll and then clear sailing into Disney. Very easy.

Hi there,
We stayed at a home in Terre Verde about 3 years ago. Was very quiet & had a nice community pool, clubhouse & playground. We had an issue that we called the owner's management company about the day we arrived and when it hadn't been resolved by the next morning, my DH mentioned it to someone at the clubhouse & they sent someone out right away which was nice. We had a house that abutted preserved space, but some of the houses were very close back to back, so if pool privacy is a concern keep this in mind.

And my favorite part - it is just a few minute ride to Super Target!! ;)

Good luck with your decision!
