so I am adding another day to my Disney trip :cool1: {6 now instead of 5}...we will be arriving on Sat AUg 2nd and checking out on Friday Aug 8th...my dilema is when to do the below items...

character breakfast x2
character dinner {goofys}
1 EE {or MM} and
1 Mickey's Toontoon Morning Madness

which days should I do the above 5 things....I would like to spread them out and was thinking of doing Goffy's the last night we are there {Thurs} night, but I wasn't sure....and if you have any schedule recommendations..please feel freet o pass those along as well!!! we are only taking the the 2 older kids, so they will be able to hang for the most part~ {15 and 7} thanks for any advice:)

IMHO, I think depending on what time you plan on arriving & departing the dlr area, your character meals may fit in well on the day you arrive & depart. If you're arriving late on the 2nd & not going into the parks, then how about a character dinner that night? Or if you're not going into the parks the day you leave, how about a character meal at one of the hotels, (especially since you can order off the menu at storytellers)?

Also, since it seems like the hours are all the same during your stay for DL, then maybe try tues. or thurs. for MM for a possible smaller crowd.

Or you could go on sun. & try to get your FL rides in so that the rest of the week is more leisurely spent.

 Or go play it by ear & see how late your family is up the night before a MM day & go the next day.

As for MTTTMM, I've never been so I can't give you any ideas there.

Ooooh, also... Someone here recommended going to a character breakfast after spending some time at MM in DL. I loved that idea. It's perfect to have a late breakfast at Minnie's at 10:30 or 11:00 after 3-4 hours in the park. (Thanks to those who posted that tip! :yay:)

I think Goofy's on arrival night would be good (unless you are arriving during the morning/day)--if you are arriving in the morning, maybe do a character breakfast the first day if you to get the youngins' excited about the character experiences. I also think you should try to get your MM done the first day you can (that way, if something goes wrong, you have that second date to fall back on). I would also do one character breakfast the last day you are there (it seems like a good way to end a vacation and chances are with that many days you will have already seen all of your "must see" attractions/entertainment and can just enjoy the morning).

Just my two cents. :hippie:

With only the older kids, do you need all the character meals? And MTTMM...is that for the 7 year old? I see it as mainly a way to easily meet the characters, but with three character meals you won't necessarily need that interaction...

For MM, I'd do it as early as possible, and if by chance the kids are "over" fantasyland, I'd go for Nemo instead.

LOL, I might be projecting, since I'm really hoping my own kid is over the characters and Fantasyland by the time he gets to be 7, so that's why I'm scritching my head a bit at all the character meals and MTTMM for y'all. :cool2:

On the other hand, I hope he's NEVER done enjoying a bug's land, b/c I love that land sooooooo much more than I do fantasyland. :rotfl:

All that aside, I'd do MM and MTTMM on different days, and I'd probably go to MM as early as possible, especially if you have a time difference that works in your favor. I'm not sure you can avoid the 3 big meals boom boom boom 3 days in a row, and for myself I couldn't do a big breakfast after a big dinner (nor could I do both b'fast and a dinner like that in one day), so I would have to schedule it with the dinner towards the end.

Well, to start out we should talk about park schedules: MM/EE is T, T, S and S. TTMM is M, W, F and Sat. So you'll need to plan around those days.

I recomend you do EE/ MM early in your trip. The longer you are there, the more tired you'll be and the harder to get up early it will be! So, I would recomend Sunday. I highly recomend Minnies for breakfast on an EE day. I would do it around 10:15-10:30. But not later then 10:30 or you'll be to close to closing to get your full 90 minutes.

TTMM I would probably do on Wednesday. Its typically one of the quieter days in the park over all.

I would probably do your other breakfast at Goofys, on a day the park opens a bit later. Maybe Tues or Thurs, and you could go before hitting the park.
