I am needing help deciding on a restaurant for lunch at Hollywood Studios. I am not sure which to pick--Sci Fi, Mama Melrose or 50's Primetime Cafe. I have 2 girls 8 & 5. Thanks for your help!!

As two adults, we prefer Mama Melrose. We have two boys...ages 22 and 20 now...and they liked both. I would think for the girls that 50's Primetime Cafe would be a lot of fun.

We have eaten at Mama Melroses and Sci fi. My DS, 11 loved the sci fi, and wants to go back on our next trip. He really enjoyed the car like booths and overall atmosphere.
I have eaten at Mama Melroses twice and do not think it is anything great.
(We did it for the fantasmic package)
I think you have to ask yourself what your girls like. Show them the sci fi pics and see if they are interested.
I have not eaten at the primtime cafe but would like to try is sometime, it just seems there is never enough time!

I ate at The Prime Time in November and we did NOT like it! My kids 10, 7 and 6 just did not get it! They didn't find the antics fun they thought the antics were annoying...maybe because we waited an hour and a half for our food! ! Only for our food to be dry and overcooked! It definately sat under a heat lamp for at least 45 minutes! We are returning in August and we are doing the Sci-Fi...I think my kids will love it! The atmosphere of The Sci-Fi seems interesting...as for Mama Melrose I have never eaten there. Have a great trip!

I've eaten at all 3. Mama Melrose is nothing to write home about. It's just normal Italian food. Sci Fi is fun for kids because you get to eat in a car. The food isn't great though. 50s Prime Time is fun for the whole family. This one would get my vote! It's fun for the kids to see their parents get reprimanded for not cleaning their plate, putting their elbows on the table, etc. I think they'll get a kick out of it. I did when I was younger and went with my parents.
