My DH and I went to WDW for our honeymoon this past January, and had such a great time that we’re thinking about going for our first anniversary in this December! Our wedding anniversary happens to fall during the second week of December, and do not want to stay at POR again due to Pop Warner! We’re on a pretty tight budget so going to one of the deluxe resorts isn’t much of an option, unless of course we receive a 40% code, in that case we’ll stay at WL. So basically to sum it all up we’re a) on a fairly tight budget (our airfare alone will be over $1,000) b) would rather not share a resort (mostly a pool!!!) with a group of teenagers, which leaves out POR, and all the values, c) needs to be accessible to WDW(we do not want to rent a car)

We were so busy with the wedding plans that our honeymoon was a bit neglected, so this time around I want to do it right!!! Please help!

Soooo good people, what do you suggest? Another moderate perhaps? Or an offsite location?

We love CSR. Very quiet. Romantic strolling around the lake at night. Excellent bus service. Excellent food court. Our favorite resort!

Thanks for your quick response! Which building would you recommend? We would rather not be directly beside the pool, but would also prefer not to be on the far end of the resort! Is there a hot tub? Do you have a link of the resort layout?

We prefer the Ranchos section, building 6A. It is the far end of the resort, though. http://allearsnet.com/acc/csrss.htm is the map. The pool is about a 5 min walk. They do have a great hot tub. There is a grill by the pool, and I am 99% sure a bar, also... but we were at the pool early morning, so we never used it. We like Ranchos because it is the quietest section of the resort, and very convenient to bus stop 3. 10 min walk to the food court, or you can take internal transportation or the bus to the front. The main drawback for Ranchos section is if you like to do the refillable mugs... then it is a pain to go fill them. We have never stayed in Cabanas section, but is is located directly between the pool and the main building, so would be convenient.

Just realized my link is the slide show for the resort. Sorry! To get the map, hit stop, then go back to picture #66.
