Ok,
so I just pulled the trigger on the 24-70 f/2.8L I will try it out and if I don't like it I can return it, or the resell is pretty close to retail.
I think I will be happier with the piece of mind of having the L glass and knowing I am not locked into a crop sensor with a lens.
Man was this a tough choice
